The way I see it, now that I'm doing a lot of highway driving, is that 30/40 hp more wouldn't be bad. But for driving on small curvy roads and around town, my 110hp HDI has plenty of power and torque to let you have fun.

Except it just doesn't happen. The car he had must have had a problem or something. I've driven a car with the same engine (it was a 308), and even if it's not fast, this kind of thing never happens.
I think everyone has it from base model, but I'm not sure. Another popular option is using a radar alarm (like a device called a Coyote). They can't technically show radars (because of a stupid passed by one of our stupid governments...), they can only display wide "danger zone"
Well, it's quite cheap. In France, renting a car similar to a Golf will set you back 100€ for a day and with only 250km.
I use something similar now. I hate those pesky radars, I see them as a tax more than a fine...
They clock you a little bit higher (I was clocked at 97) and they substract 5km/h if you are under 100km/h and 5% over 100. This to take into account the fact that speedos aren't accurate.
Oh, cops are not the problem we almsot never see them on the road, automatic radars are. Last year I got ticket for a 92 in a 90...
Yeah, I would be in the same situation in this case. But considering what it was made for, it's not a bad car.
Seeing you can't do anything to your car here... And that 1km/h over the limit will get you a ticket, these cars aren't so bad (I'm driving a Xsara HDI btw).
Yeah and? You don't need a gazillion horsepower to get around town. A torquey engine is sufficient, and you can even take the on-ramp to the highway safely.
The old C-Elysee yes. The new C-elysee uses the platform of the Peugeot 207/208.
My father has the old version of the same engine in his car (308 first gen). I think he manages a 4.5l/100km when he isn't hamerring it. So around 55 mpg. With the new engine you could get close to 65.
To help explain, we'll start in a place where the designers clearly didn't: the engine. Although Citroen claims my C-Elysee was powered by a 92-horsepower 1.6-liter turbodiesel, I beg to differ. I think it was powered by whatever keeps my iPhone running, except maybe slightly detuned so things don't get really out of…
Aren't all cars supposed to have adjustable seat belts ? My 2001 Citroën has them, by 1989 Golf had them too.
It depends what nationality you are. If you're French but living in Monaco you still have to pay taxes in France.
You should have went to Nice then, it's like 30min from Monaco and you could have had dinner on the main court, many restaurants, not cheap but not expensive either (Think around 22€ main + desert and water is free since they don't have the right to sell it to you, unless it's bottled).
OMG! That seatbelt is bothering me SO much !
If you're on a bike just make a sign by moving your leg, everyone will know you thanks them :)
I know, sometimes I'm not fully aware of my surroundings. It's not like I've never cut someone off because I wasn't paying attention. But I think that when you're in stop and go traffic, the least you can do is have an eye in your mirror.
The way I see it (and as a guy who never been on a motorcycle), lane splitting should be safe and easy : be aware of the others, don't be an ass, and move to the side a bit to ease the way for motorcycles when you see them coming.
