Nah, if it looks like Andy is threatening the monarchy itself (as opposed to just being an embarrassment to it, like now) then he’ll be given the Eddie VIII treatment. England’s parliament will take time out from dealing with whichever the most recent Brexit debacle it is dealing with, to slap together some sort of

Can’t star this enough.

“...the coronavirus doesn’t have a multibillion-dollar industry dedicated to infecting people...”

It is a damn shame that certain portions of the medical field are particularly susceptible to medical misinformation and conspiracy theories. It’s that dangerous land of knowing more than the general population, but not the next hump of knowing exactly how little you actually know about a field.

It’s absolutely insane. I heard on the news recently that we’re back to losing nearly a thousand people a day to Covid-19. When we have effective vaccines! Like....what? Excuse me?!?

What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?

*waits for the outcry of whiny cis men bitching about cancel culture and anti-abortion rhetoric*

Theoretically we have a thing called ‘double jeopardy’ in our Constitution. THEORETICALLY.

That ranking is a bit misleading because each state in the U.S. could easily be a country in and of itself. The amount of freedom granted to citizens can vary wildly from state to state.

Which, if you think about it, is quite hilariously ironic.

I mean it’s just nationalism for the most part. Which most American’s like to dress up as “patriotism” because it makes it sound nicer. But nope. It’s nationalism. American’s are so obsessed with telling everyone else that their country is the best that they haven’t noticed how badly it smells.

The US is ranked 61st in Freedom House’s most recent Freedom in the World report, about on the same level as Romania and Poland. Americans have this weird belief their country is the pinnacle of freedom when it’s not even close.

If Just Cause took itself seriously and had boring mechanics it’d be a Far Cry game.

Seems like Wallace opened himself a can of whoops-ass.

I’m all for Disney destroying everything. There’s been a weird time warp for the last 20-30 years in which everyone seems obsessed with nostalgia to the point that whenever we DO get something NEW (or new to everyone living) they then run it into the ground until it’s dead or spawns something else they can run into

Have to agree with Frank. Disney has never understood the Muppets. But they also don’t care that they don’t understand the Muppets. It has and always will be another “nostalgia” IP to be soullessly mined and focus-grouped into the ground for them.

Making an enjoyable version of The Muppet Show isn’t rocket science.

Also the last two Presidential elections in the United States. Not just the people who voted for Trump, but also the assholes that voted for compromise-centric moderates in the primaries like Biden and Clinton.

I personally feel like the covid crisis has given us the best data ever on just how many people are raging, self entitled jerks. This is just more confirmation that we are beset on all sides by morons and a-holes.

My confusion lies with their voters and supporters in Florida.

Both of my parents were born before/during the war so they grew up during the hard times. My mom is also a retired nurse, and she REALLY hates junk food, so it’s more in line with her personal preferences than her direct connection to her childhood. That conversation we had -- you practically could hear her eye roll.
