To be fair, there was a bug fairly shortly after release that made your companions extremely and excessively thirsty, that has been toned down with patches. So maybe if you try again, it won’t be as bad now?

I mean... that is fair. It is a big resource investment to do it properly, and if they prefer to spend those resources elsewhere, that’s a choice they’re completely free to make. It is not as if romance is a requirement for RPGs, just a common trope.

One thing I’d like to note though, the person walking in the trailer is a woman. They are wearing healed boots, and havea far too narrow waist for the kind of beefcake they usually reserve for Sheppard. Everything about their movements screams woman to me.

Agreed, my PC copy of Starfield is on a very speed M2 SSD and loading times effectively do not exist, fast travel from 1 planet to another takes maybe 5-10 seconds depending on complexity of the destination.

10TB could get expensive though, bigger SSDs are still relatively expensive. 2 TB ones are fairly cheap.
I also do not need to keep everything installed, a good selection is fine.

Given that my new PC is currently planned to have 4 TB of Game storage, I don’t think it’ll be a problem I’ll personally have issue with though I imagine that in time there will be some competition for which games get to live on the faster M2 SSD versus the SATA SSDs.

World Streaming for Flight Simulator definitely doesn’t help I imagine.

In steam you can technically designate any drive in your system as a steam folder, so an external SSD should be possible. Not sure how it’ll respond to switching drives and such though.
I’m currently using 2 1TB SSDs for my steam games, and they’re relatively full too.
