which is indeed the role they have in EVE, but they’re rarely used these days, as Battlecruisers equipped with Rapid Light launchers work just as well and aren’t nearly as fragile.
Destroyers are practically made of paper in the game, they have about the same health as a frigate, but are 3-4 times bigger.

true, that or the AI could start fielding Rapid Light Launcher Battlecruisers / Cruisers especially combined with Blood Raider webs, which wouldn’t be so easy to counter with only frigates.

Keep in mind that EVE ships are quite large. The smallest frigates are still around 90 meters long, they’re not like your usual sci-fi fighter aircraft.

To be honest, you can counter frigate swarms with destroyers, which are quite fragile, but specialize in killing the small fast frigates, but that may simply be something that the AI doesn’t have as an option (yet), ie. CCP forgot to add it as a counter option, because who would bring a pile of frigs.

you need a LOT (and I mean a LOT) of debris to drop the output of a star by 3%, let alone 20%, stars are big things, occluding even 3 percent of that massive surface takes a lot of stuff.

The regulations for that material has been updated quite a bit since then, and it is safe to assume that the facility was upgraded to meet those requirements as it grew, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still extremely hazardous.

The game running well is a bit of an understatement, at 1440p with everything maxed my GTX 1080 is literally not breaking a sweat.
It hasn’t spun up the fans in hours of play, they’re idling at ~10% or so, while keeping the FPS very comfortably between 120 - 144 FPS.

Darksiders 1 is like a reskinned Zelda game, with 2 being an open world RPG. Similar to an open-world Zelda I suppose. :)

The artwork that came with Darksiders 1 already re-branded the horsemen for the game. Rather than Famine and Pestilence you have Fury and Strife.
Fury being the whip wielding monster shown above, and Strife being a pistol expert.

So we’re more likely to run into a species like the Liir or Aquan, rather than something more like us. Not necessarily a problem to be honest.

Except that D3 improved substantially after the expansion. It is a very different game compared to the product that launched.

Seoul will cease to exist if the US attacks North Korea and there’s nothing we can do to stop it. Missile defences will take out the big stuff but several thousand large artillery shells per minute will erase that city and its millions of inhabitants in very short order.

True, I did play the game, but on PC, where you used the character codes the figures came with, rather than a “portal” to load figures. So I have a small collection of the figures just for fun, the physical toys were basically the same price as their digital unlocks, and they look really nice. :)

I agree on the alt front, I don’t use them myself, but it makes travel through the more dangerous parts of space a bit of an adventure to put it mildly. :) I have a 2nd account, but it’s been inactive for quite some time.

I see. :) My own character is about a decade old now, so skill points are not an issue. I can pilot just about anything smaller than a Capital ship with close to perfect skills.

That depends on how the mod does its job. Denuvo probably prevents you from replacing the main executable, however graphical mods like this can also work by hooking directly into the directX output of the game. I think the original fix for the first Dark Souls works in a similar fashion.

I still play, just rarely use PLEX (I simply subscribe and generally don’t buy them to sell either). So you are correct that it’s been a while since I last handled one.

oh dear... You do realise that for the most part the GOP seems to be about acting almost comic-book level evil and against the interests of the people?
It is almost impossible to fathom how anyone can support them at the Federal level, voting for them if you’re not wealthy is literally voting against your own well

This weekend I’m playing Mass Effect: Andromeda.
So far, it’s a gorgeous game, and the human facial animations aren’t looking as bad as seen in some of the earlier footage. :)
The story could have been more interesting, but I’ve been having a good bit of fun up to this point.

The thing is, if I recall correctly, when you redeem a PLEX it will spawn at your home station, not at the current one.
