The thing is, the stockmarket is, far more than any other parts of the world economy, very susceptible to emotion and whims.
What’s driving the DOW and other indices like it up are feelings that this president will be soft on, if not outright supportive of, Wallstreet.
Which drives trade, investment, etc as people see

To be fair, I still get a bit jittery every time I have to “chunk” a CPU into its final socket position with that little lever. There’s always more resistance to the final click than I find comfortable. :)
The rest is indeed quite straightforward these days and most things only fit in one spot or type of slot.

An excellent write-up mr. Hamilton.

One small correction I’d like to propose, is that the Geth are only Semi-Sentient. Only when enough of them are in close proximity of each other and start networking can they achieve actual sentience by reducing the CPU overhead needed to run their mental processes.
That is explained

Now playing

Look up Frozen’s Let it Go in Chinese, it fits so well it’s almost frightening to consider it’s not the language it was written for.

Thank you for the extensive answer. :)

Is there anything to do solo, is it really more like a privateer game (doing trade, maybe a mission now and then) or is there more to it? I like how it looks, but I really don’t know what you actually do in the game. Is it essentially a galaxy sized sandbox?

In this case I imagine it helped that it was a Tesla. All that extra mass in the form of the main battery helps absorb a lot of the Passats momentum without too much effort.

The situation in which the damage happens is fairly important for the insurance claim, in this case, I do not foresee any trouble getting the damage covered. Denying someone who just saved a life coverage is really shit press after all.

Judge Scalia was odious in many of his beliefs and convictions, but he was also exceptionally knowledgeable on the constitution and preferred to rule by it than conventional precedent. He would not stand for shit like this.

Personally, while I liked the squad intro bit, I didn’t exactly like that they spoiled the appearance and name of the big bad already. :/
As for AI, the new “Andromeda Initiative” briefing clearly states that S.A.M. on the Hyperion is a true AI, not VI, but an actual, fully sentient AI, that’s hooked directly into

One big benefit to those clean energy projects proving viable on their own, is that they’ll keep going even if the government withdraws its support. If it’s cheaper and more profitable to make clean energy, then that is what is going to happen, regardless of what the Federal Government implements in terms of policy

The current game is quite limited in scope, if you get the game mechanics going your way you’ll have seen all you can develop yourself in an hour or two. It’s Early Access, but the developer calls it pre-Alpha. Now, given how generally bug-free the game feels and how nice it looks, I wouldn’t go that far. But right

It is a lot harder, people will probably die, but you’re better equipped. Standard your soldiers have ablative armour and both flashbangs and normal grenades as standard. With the changes to cover you’ll want to flank as much as humanly possible, and while your squads are much bigger (default is now 8), there are also

Voyager is still a Trek in the traditional sense, I meant not thinking about it too hard in the sense of the over-arching story. ;)
But I agree, the new Star Trek is a little too Bromance / Action-Movie style for me, though I will say that Beyond was enjoyable enough, it was a bit more subtle about certain things.

I personally enjoyed the show and I’ve watched pretty much all of it (I may have missed an episode or two), but there were long stretches of the series that were just odd and felt out of place, but were enjoyable enough if you didn’t think about it too much. :)

hint, entitlement programs work fine, but you need taxes to pay for them. And that’s the problem, no American recognises or is willing to recognise that their country would be better off if they paid slightly more taxes.

They’re all humans, mistakes happen. By looking at such things they get a better statistical sample size, there aren’t that many pilots around to study, this should give them a better result.

They’re using Tie Strikers almost exclusively in the atmospheric fights with the rebels, so there indeed would have been no standard Tie Fighters available.

It is probably hard putting down a memorable performance if you don’t enjoy doing it. Forcing yourself isn’t going to look as good, so if Ford didn’t enjoy being Han, then that would have shown through.

Trump can be impeached. It’s exceedingly unlikely ofcourse, but if he drops a few nukes over an angry tweet the Republicans in Congress and the Senate might just consider getting rid of the man.
