It makes me so happy to see everyone responding here talking about the story of the franchise. As silly as it is, those first few SR games hooked me.

I find it rare to hear of anyone replaying a single player game JUST to level up characters. This is a fantastic sign.
“These touching moments feel oddly out-of-place in a game where an entire mission takes place outside an observatory holding a special exhibit dedicated to Uranus, and a climactic boss fight is accompanied by an endless barrage of testicle puns. Out-of-place, but not unwelcome.”
Everything FilmCow does is this level is strange yet hilariously awkward. Them and RageNineteen are some of my favorite animators/comedians.
I’m so glad this video was posted. FilmCow needs more exposure. Let Sargnarg spread like the disease he probably is.
Just knowing that someone describes him as anything similar to Bilzerian makes me immediately skeptical of any enjoyment I’d have watching his particular personality on a stream. =P
I do think his personality and overall stream will only benefit from this exposure. That said, since the rule was broken, and considering Dr.’s response afterwards (which has definitely been aggressive, be it part of his personality or not), I don’t blame PU for being so forthcoming about the ban and why it…
You do make a great point. I was thinking more in the general scheme of things, but this case definitely stands out among what I imagine most situations can be. There’s no point in setting a precedent for punishments from breaking the rules if the precedent is that people can get away with breaking the rules a time or…
This is literally the first time I’ve heard of Dr. Disrespect. If his character is just to play a dickhead, who does dick things that, in this case, go against the ToS, then is anybody really surprised?
Wouldn’t even be the first time a totally unrelated game did that to the Zelda timeline. Remember Soul Calibur 2 on the GameCube? Link’s story specifically had him travelling from Hyrule to take part in the games’ story. I still remember a ton of people making a huge deal about it.
Hey Heather, it may be worth noting in your article that the game isn’t removed permanently, last I heard. Sony simply requested that the title and description be changed, as well as to remove the mention of the trophies. It’ll be back up soon, I think.
Oh? I’ll have to check it out then. I haven’t played the newest one (only the original and Absolution), so I have no idea how well the episodic nature was done. (Not a fan of the timed one-off assassinations, since late purchasers just never get that content, if my understanding is correct)
Wasn’t this newest Hitman game planned as 3 seasons of content? I recall hearing that a while back, but I can’t be certain of where that info was.
Yeah, Phil Fish is a bit of a tool at times. Still, I love Fez. Played it a good number of times. And if he ever crawls out of his hole to release Fez 2, I will still 100% pick it up.
I’m not a fan of the shipping costs from either (living in Canada), but I do enjoy Fangamer a bit more, purely on customer service terms.
It’s something that Toby was talking about for ages on Twitter, so I’m stoked that he appears to have figured it out. I can see it working, though I imagine the coding involved would be a nightmare.
Dave Mustaine is actually EXACTLY the person I was thinking of while writing my original comment! The guy makes amazing tunes, but I’ll be damned if I can agree with him on many things he’s spoken up about in the past.
Man, you are just a ray of sunshine, aren’t you?
If I really cared about what the likes of, for example, Doug TenNapel thinks about the world, I’d find it hard to enjoy Earthworm Jim anymore. And that’s just not a feeling I care to indulge in. So Mr. TenNapel can have his thoughts, and I’ll keep enjoying his works. Because even if I don’t agree with his views, I…
I do wonder how well this kind of future can be portrayed. I love the idea that an overuse of and reliance on machines can stall our creative growth, but I’m curious how that will create an intriguing story without being overly offensive for no particular reason.
