Since I don’t know the guy in the slightest, or have any previous knowledge of his comments outside of this article, I’m willing to reserve judgment until it’s been released. He says a lot has changed for him, so I say we let him show that to us himself.

Until the game is closer to release, none of us will know if the story is that anti-anything. It’ll be a concern then; for now, I don’t personally see the point in getting too up in arms.

I do sort of(?) understand the feeling of not wanting to partake in a product from someone who holds views vastly different to mine. But, I don’t know them. And their views don’t hurt me. Most of the time, those views are never seen in their products anyways (at least in my experience). Maybe I find it easy to ignore?

Man, I just like a good discussion. So long as people stay civil, I’ll voice my thoughts all bloody day.

That’s a good point, and I’m inclined to agree. Though, as I said, we won’t know until the game is released if that’s how the presentation/story turns out. So we all still have time to see what happens next.

Putting aside the guys’ personal views, I just wanna know if the game is gonna be interesting. Couldn’t care less about his previous affiliations. If the game looks fun, and plays well, I’ll be happy.

I’m also one of those 1/10. And while it was semi-sad losing her character before the reveal of her betrayal, it fit the story being told. She was a traitor (willing or not), and Desmond was being used. It’s weird to think her death both helped and hurt him, since he seemed to have no idea (from my recollection) that

He talked about it on Twitter three days ago. Technically his thought process begins before this tweet I’ll link (in the tweet prior, he says he was writing the final cutscenes, threw in some curses, and “remembered switch needs an esrb rating”, but it’s this question he poses and gets insight on from his

McMillen has been asking around about what fans think of the apparent vulgarity in the game, and if he should change things up to lower the potential rating from an M on consoles. Chances are, the console port is gonna take a bit of time just out of these rating-based decisions.

The guys from The Last Door are making a brutal and dark hack-and-slash? I’m so in.

This is the story of a man named Stanley...

Plus, how many other games are likely to use the term “cyberpunk” in their title? Not to mention it’s a bit of a different scenario, with Projekt (from what I recall, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) obtained ownership of the trademark that was already held on that term for the past few decades. It, and the

The reason that people get so frustrated with endings that may feel less fulfilling is that we want to experience the story and receive something significant for our time and effort. It doesn’t need to be happy or positive, but it should answer those nagging questions. Just reading a walkthrough takes away the

I have watched some gameplay, from Cryaotic (about an hour and a half, I believe), and I was interested then, since it seemed to be building up to something over the course of the various characters’ stories. I guess it’s just a bit of a downer that it sort of amounts to, what I feel is, an expected joke that someone

No, I’m not (though admittedly, I’ve never really been through any tests for anything that might sit outside of the mental norm). As far as I’m currently aware, I’m just significantly bothered when a good story misses pieces for no particular reason. My understanding is that this revolves around the Zeigarnik effect

This really makes me hesitant to play the game. I’m admittedly a huge critic of/place a large amount of my focus on the plot of the games I play (assuming the plot is an important part of the game to begin with), so to hear that certain aspects of the plot are left unanswered deliberately with no plan to answer it in

Technically, the original secret of Monkey Island has never been revealed. They DID have a secret shown in the third or fourth game, but Gilbert has said he’d make a proper third game to complete his story, and that he has a very specific secret in mind for that reveal. Thing is, he has no rights to work on the IP, so

Doesn’t matter too much that she didn’t get one of four. She got two of four, in one summon, Soren being her favorite.

A friend of mine got Soren and Titania from the Radiance summon, in a single pull... acted super uninterested, without having any idea of good of a pull that was.

Wow, is that really how the subreddit has evolved? That’s both wonderful (with links for help) and terrifying.
