About Alice? Without sharing too much regarding the documents, since I'd love for people to find them themselves, are you referring to the one that mentions Alices' recollection of what happened during the incident at Cauldron Lake?

*SPOILERS to follow*

*minor spoilers*

Not sure if anyone will answer this, and my copy won’t arrive until next week. If I figure it out once I play it (in case you don’t get the answer elsewhere), I’ll let you know!

So, it sounds like the ‘optional’ Isu/modern day stuff is some of the best content in the game? Those of us who have constantly said this stuff can be good/expanded on well might finally have others that agree with us?

Despite the arcade-y nature of American Nightmare, it does /sort/ of continue Alan’s story. Like, it’s not the most important part of the narrative overall, considering how it's mostly just Mr. Scratch screwing with Alan the whole time, but the ending and the implications of what happens are somewhat important to what

It’s fun for some of us to discuss when new games get released. I prefer getting invested in longer, interconnected experiences, so the idea of a timeline for Zelda is exciting to me.

Many don’t care, some (like myself) do. I love the idea of a massive, sprawling storyline connected between dozens of different stories. It’s one of the reasons why I play Zelda (and have started getting into the likes of D&D stories, more specifically related to the soft reboot of Forgotten Realms that connects to

Honestly, even as a fan of timeline discussions for Zelda, I’m okay with this. And I kinda figured that’s what they were doing anyways, as I played through BotW. It allows for the original timelines to have all occurred, while leaving an open slate for new entries.

Except all 3 of those games you mentioned directly follow or reference Ocarina of Time as the game they follow story-wise. Obviously There’s SOME thought put into it, otherwise those connections wouldn’t be made at all. Yeah, Miyamoto and the Zelda teams probably don’t care as much as some of the fans do about

Except Miyamoto and the others on his various teams have been talking about timeline placement as far back as Zelda 2 and A Link to the Past. Obviously Zelda 2 was a sequel, story wise, to the original, and ALttP was noted as being the earliest game at the time. Details and placements are bound to change over time as

I’m about to start the 3rd arc (so, second season I guess?), and I actually had a REALLY hard time trying to get through the first arc. The weirdness is fine, I’m all for weird. But for some reason, I just couldn’t enjoy the progression or writing/dialogue. It all felt a little too predictable (outside of the sudden

They may give a lot of their premium currency, but there’s something you’re forgetting, or just not fully addressing, at least. The point of both games, at least in part, is to collect. There’s TONS of players put off by this update because it could very easily mess with their collection.

Maybe this is just my perspective/experience on it, but, I feel like this opinion you’re sharing is “new” to me. As in, for literal years after Paradise released, I kept hearing people say it was their favorite Burnout, that they wanted a new one, etc. Now, when Paradise finally DOES get an upgrade/update, I’ve seen

As much as I don’t care for his style of content, I would have at least understood a response based on contextual responses from the game he was playing at the time, reacting to the players and expressing his frustrations. But pulling the “I know X so I can’t be racist card” is just plain tone deaf at this point.

This is my new favorite comment on the internet. Thank you for this one.

At least there was some warning then. Though I have no idea how I missed that; I’m on all of Squeenix’s mailing lists, but I don’t recall ever getting much in the way of notices about the crossover stuff.

I’m sure I’m not the only person in a position of picking and choosing what to play and when. Obviously that’s not the fault of Squeenix, but it’s still unfortunate that we’ll miss out on the content. It’s not ultimately a huge deal, but it’s still worth pointing out how many players will probably never see half of

Wait, so not only can we not access all of the unlockable content without having taken part in the Chocobo Festival, but the entirety of the expansion is vanishing in just days? Was this announced at all before now? Curious about how much time they’re actually giving late players to jump in and experience it while

Not a single thing added in that regard, sadly. Doubt we’ll get anything in the next DLC either.
