The Chevy Aveo. Nothing about this car was good. To the point they had to rename it when they actually made them decent (the Sonic)

I was just going to say we’ve seen this story every season since he showed up in Buffalo as a “Career Journeyman Backup.” He’s like Frank Reich: The best backup you’ll ever find. Amazing for about 4 weeks, then still shows flashes of brilliance followed by throwing 5 interceptions in the second half and letting

I drove both and the Leaf being cheaper I found more justifiable. The biggest thing is that the interior of the Bolt looks better, but the interior of the Leaf is so much more comfortable it isn’t even funny.

I am also going to send a recommendation for donating to Code 3 Associates. They do an amazing job helping coordinate animal rescue efforts in disaster areas, big and small.

Actually, yeah. Though I4 engines have even firing pulses, since 2 pistons are going up and 2 down at the same time, when the pistons get too large they become incredibly difficult to balance (Hence why you never see any above 2.5 liter and all of the high power turbo ones are generally 2.0l). While the 3 cylinder has

I look forward to never seeing these produced, or if they do get produced, they’ll cost $65k and no one will ever buy them.

It helps for sure, but IIRC the multiples of 3 are still the most naturally balanced engines (I3, I6, V12)

Nah, a 20-cyl wouldn’t be very well balanced. It needs to be a 24 cylinder, with F1 style MGU-H turbos.

True, but after test driving a Bolt I’m not sure I’d spend $30k on a car with that poor of an interior. (Seriously its really really bad)

Company is vague about plans but you never know if they miss: blowing it.

The release on that yesterday said they’re just putting some more fire resistant materials around it, so it sounds like its either a defect or unforseen circumstances (no crashes are ever the same) that have now become seen.

I’m not going to lie, I find this car startlingly attractive.

I mean, that’s how he’s portraying himself these days...

Is it just me, or do the newer 911s look kinda awkward with how much room is between the wheels (inevitably due to them actually starting to push the engine in front of the rear tires)?

Agreed. Part of the reason everyone loves the original is the numbers put out by the rally version. To not announce them because ‘these feelings are not measured in numbers.’ is a pretty odd thing to say.

The issue has less to do with the companies themselves and more to do with the union asshats that will vandalize competitors cars. That’s why at the more non-union (engineering and management related) facilites you don’t see it as much, but the plants are heavily segregated.

Ah shit. Yep. My reading comprehension before lunch is definitely poor. I for some reason read it backwards in the ‘yeah well I got that 20 years ago’ way.

Could your Outback tow 10,000 lb or fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood?

This is about going rate for these, so it is a nice price. However, you can find an equivalent Volt for $10k cheaper, or get a slightly more used volt (think closer to 100k miles) for sub-$10k, so YMMV.

I was at Universal Orlando earlier this year and pretty much agree with everything said, though I enjoyed the non-frozen butterbeer more. The food is just kinda ‘meh’ IMO, in the typical British food way. Also, holy crap are the robes expensive (something like $150 and there were TONS of people wearing them).
