In my opinion, if simply Liking something says enough to your boss that it convinces him to fire you over it, then it should be considered a substantive statement. A statement's validity as "substantive" shouldn't rely on the number of words, but the actual impact it causes.

I've already posted this image in two other threads, but I might as well show you too!

Here, this one should be accurate.

Here's my personal favorite example of the Munker Illusion. Crazy stuff.

This photo from June of 2000 is the oldest one I've got on this particular computer, but I've got a whole bunch of older photos on a storage drive that's currently out of commission/inaccessible at the moment..

I've done the shake-and-one-sheet method for years, but for practical reasons rather than environmental. It's always confounded me as to why people can't manage to dry their hands with just one sheet (or even half a sheet on the rolls with half-size perforations).

I got the Google+ Like button a couple months ago, actually. I couldn't find anyone else who had it, but after a couple weeks I was able to switch it back to the thumbs-up and thumbs-down by clearing all my Google cookies in my browser and logging back in. Go figure.

"The lack of worthwhile extensions is particularly bad, especially for power users like you and me. Internet Explorer's selection of add-ons is awful. Really, truly, awful. In fact, it really should just be treated as if it doesn't have extensions to begin with. [...] This isn't exactly Microsoft's fault, but it's

This looks fantastic. I can't wait to jump in and start making some test chambers for my friends! I wonder how long until we get to design levels for multiplayer, if not on the initial release. Will this support the Pneumatic Diversity Vents that are thus far unused (other than for decoration)? Will maps post-edited

It's my twentieth tab open right now. I've had a lot more than this open before, though.

This is really interesting... I have no way of knowing how well they've actually researched and thought this through, but as a basic concept it makes total sense. If they actually manage to succeed in this project, it could boost public interest in space research and technology, and potentially lead to actual space

I tend to recognize when I'm getting that tired while I'm PC gaming and get off before that happens, but playing my Nintendo DS from my bed or comfortable couch is another story entirely. Probably most often is while I'm level grinding on a Pokémon game, but it's happened for other DS games as well.

It certainly is!

...What?

I just wish they would make a 3DS-exclusive Pokémon game already, so they can actually take advantage of the exponentially higher storage space on the cartridge as well as high-poly rendered graphics, better music, and built-in AR games.

This is almost definitely real. Everything about the company structure matches everything we've been officially told about it already, and even the art illustrations appear to have been drawn by known Valve concept artists. If it's not real, it's a very convincing, probably accurate fake.

I will travel across the store, searching far and wide!

I actually sort of agree. For once, it wasn't utterly painful to watch.

Now playing

Why do they even try to be relevant to gamers? Seriously?
