Like the others, 20k is unreasonably expensive to the vast majority. But in the world of buying built engines, it is a pretty normal price point. 20k, engine, normal...ugh that feels wrong

Now playing

Yes, yes you can :) I always thing of this video clip when i’m ‘that guy’

It also helped my speed muting that i was a skinny white kid blasting rap....haha

Same here. A year ago the teen across the street from me would come home after his fast food job, and let the bass boom song finish in their driveway, then turn it off. I’m only 30, but I became the crotchety old man yelling at those darn kids to turn their radio down! I had subs in my first few cars, but i always

I came here to scold Canada and suggest that they enact a law like we have in Florida - make it a ticketable offense for music to be heard from a certain distance, only to find this: its not illegal anymore. I’ve been turning down my stereo next to cops for nothing!

We read about this a few days ago in business journals. Hopefully Statefarm gets involved and sued as well, they are the WORST company when it comes to quality repairs. Their adjusters will straight up say to our face “oh, our company doesn’t pay for that” for required OEM things. I guarantee that is what happened

Thank you! Every time someone uses the word ‘clip’ i get triggered [pun intended]. Movies in guns are fake and wrong. You don’t empty a clip, you empty mags. Its not pedantic, its just terminology. You wouldn’t mix the terms RAM and SSD when talking of computers

Just one note: “semi-automatics are out of the question.” Not to be pedantic, but semi-auto rifles, pistols, and shotguns are legal in NY under the SAFE act - only semi-autos that are classified as ‘assault weapons’ are banned. For example this is fully legal to own, assuming you follow the proper procedures to

My love is in the security. Integrating with ADT pulse, I can see motion in my house, and if/when any doors are open. I can be across the country and unlock my front door or open the garage door for a friend or delivery, and never have that nagging feeling if i remembered to lock the back door. It has been useful

haha yep thats how i found the old listing for my Sequoia, some things seemed odd so i searched the VIN and found it

Indeed it can be a risk or reward. Over the course of 2 months we bought a 14 expedition (sister) a 14 odyssey (mother) and a 14 sequoia (me). The expedition has the only clean title ironically, and has been a flood nightmare of parts - but she still loves the car. The Odyssey is still in process, my father bought

It was a cross state, website bid on a car on Copart, so we knew buyer beware, esp since we couldn’t arrange for one of us to personally inspect it. And she did get it for a decent price, only pays cost for parts, so she’s still in the black. Thank you thou! : )

Thanks. She is still in love with it (it was what she was planning on getting for quite some time). I think she is still in the black by a few thousand compared to going used car market value, and it still technically has a clean non-flood title. I just hate it and don’t trust it, because I’m the one that has to

There is one other way flood vehicles can stay in the driving market - if they were owned by large self insured firms. For example, we purchased a 2014 expedition EL with under 7k miles, with a clean title and minor damage all around from copart. It was never indicated or reported that it was a water/flood. Once

I hope Sen. Warren goes after them like she did during the other BS wells farko did with fake accounts.

Every jacked up P.O.S. 4x4 pickup with blinding LED headlights, YETI and FLO GROWN stickers in the window, a shirtless toothless wonder at the wheel....see i’m pissed just thinking about them

So funny to think about. A wealthy family I know pre-ordered a convertible when they were first coming out, paid almost 10k over invoice to have one of the first....for a pos neon XD

I always have a fear of doing this exact thing. It easily happened to this poor sap because you dont adjust customers cars/mirrors. 90% of the vehicles I test drive I cant see out the mirrors correctly. It can be so easy to put the front wheel sensor away, walk around do the drivers side, and hop in to test drive.

Sorry, 4-5 hours for a valve cover? thats like 30 minutes per bolt holding it in there right?

@6:54 that almost ended ugly for the biker. But good on him. I’ve worked scenes where it is a hit and run, and they never find the car. That means all vehicles would have to go thru their own insurance, everyone gets screwed but the at-fault. This was an epic recording, good on the biker for wanting some excitement
