Very well said. The combination of rpm speed and torque is the best part. I cants stand seeing guys take forever using their 1/4" air ratchets at a nice slow pace to remove those annoyingly long bolts.

It does amaze me how much oil manufactures consider normal consumtion. To quote a Chrysler TSB “The accepted rate of oil consumption for engines used in the vehicles listed above is 0.946 liter (1 qt.) in 3,200 km (2,000 mi) for the 1st 80,467 km (50,000 mi). For vehicles with more than 80,467 km (50,000 mi) the…
I’ve always had a similar thought. To me it would make sense that brake light intensity would increase as brake force increased. Granny riding her brakes? very dim red. Panic stopping? extra bright flashing. It is odd to me that we have the same warning lamp for either situations currently.
All these rage comments make me chuckle. 55 in a 25 zone. Now, 55 is brisk, but it is far from ZOMG LOCK HIM AWAY FOR LIFE!!!speed. Yes, he should have stopped, and I assume this is why the hammer came down as hard as it did. But unless he hit the pedestrian while running a redlight, the death is equally the fault…
And i see he has a chinstrap beard, I would expect nothing less.
Amazing article and company story David, I loved it! As a mechanic that regularly handles and replaced parts like this, I love the depth of detail this company is extrapolating from every item. I’m sure it would get tedious, but this looks like my dream job lol.
But....that is a Dodge. Bleh
Indeed. I had a stage 2 SRT4 for 3 years. The first year it was ‘no man, it’s not a crappy neon, it’s an SRT!” But then I started racing and beating every mustang and camaro I would come across, and suddenly I was saying “lel you just got beat by a 4 door neon!”. I had mine up to 135 on a divided interstate only…
How the hell did you read that and walk away with ‘one-lane road’?? I’d accept that you simply can’t understand context clues when you read things like “I-95" “interstate” “70 MPH”...but then to ignore two pictures that clearly show him pulled over on the side, with 2 lanes split by white dashes, indicating a divided…
Having owned 2, they are mostly useless. You are far more likely to be picked off by a cop using an instant on laser rather than a constant stream radar. The only thing my radar detector did is scream at be that a cop just got my speed and i’m getting pulled over now.
2008-2012 BMW 535I, plenty are out there under 60k miles for less than 25k. Turbo powered fun, with all the middle-age luxuries you deserve. Can still be a practical family car, a very comfortable driver, or a decent beast off the line. The turbo powerplant is tuneable/upgradable if you want to play as well (google…
Mechanic for some local florida highway patrols checking in here. It is GM to Dodge, but the all black car’s in Florida’s 90+ weather never have an overheating problem. Well, i take that back, Dodge has had a few cooling fan blades catastrophically fail (new hoses, usually holes in the radiator, all great stuff for…
I feel there is an important edit to this story. “the driver managed to avoid oncoming traffic” No. Just No. It should say “by some shear random luck, the out of control car wasn’t struck by oncoming traffic”
I just got two of these mounts for my wife and I, and i LOVE them. best car/phone invention yet

Exact wording was ‘nearly 2x over.’ 57 is nearly 60, so its pretty easy to infer it was a 30 zone, he was doing 27 over. If it was a 20 zone, I guarantee that excited author would have said TRIPLE THE SPEED LIMIT ZOMG! or something like that.
If i read that article correct, he left the scene of a crash he was involved in with a Mondeo. He only got his car up to 57 MPH in a 30 zone before he failed a pass attempt and struck a car and tree. Sure, 27 over the limit is speeding, but not exactly ‘wont someone think of the children!’ fast. Was the prison…
Why is everyone calling this interior silver? That clearly is toyota camry stock grey.
the happiness is strong with this one
I completely, fully agree with you. Get a big garage for your junk, or get a storage spot. Cant afford either? Don’t buy shit you can’t care for. I live in a deed restricted place for that very reason.
