It’s actually a more complicated legal matter.
It’s actually a more complicated legal matter.
“Uniqlo will not award the Grand Prize to another entrant”
I thought that was laid out pretty plainly?
Hate? The headline was very clear: Epic Games Store will block your account if you buy too many games... because the Epic Games Store has been blocking accounts for buying too many games.
It's called "news". It's silly to choose to interpret it as hate.
What hate is in that headline? As the article says, their is a massive sale on at Epic and could potentially get a ton of people get their accounts blocked if they buy a certain number of games. It’s better to warn people about that issue with reporting like this.
Yeah I mean that’s the thing; if these trick save on processing power as much as they do, I would think you would just move the goal posts and keep on using them. It’s like when people say there’s “no excuse” for all games to not be running at 60fps within a given console generation. I mean, obviously some devs are…
If recent remarks by PlayStation’s Mark Cerny are to be believed, tricks like this might not even be necessary in the next hardware generation.
Trying to fix something terrible can be really fun. I used to arrange a lot of music, and I loved taking a boring song and making it better.
It kind of makes sense, actually. If you remake a good game, you’re going to be compared to that good game, and probably come up short - and you don’t have many obvious places for improvement. Remake a bad game, though, and you have a huge list of obvious fixes to make, and can easily surpass the original even though…
I know it’s a different culture, but I really hate this practice. Something feels very off about it.
I don’t think you understand what the word “morally” means :-)
Amazingly enough the fact that NCAA explicitly list bullshit in their media guidelines doesn’t magically make copyright law fall in line with said bullshit any more than “owner is not responsible for” notices protect people from liability lawsuits when they are actually liable for the damages involved.
It was released 23 years ago, so... yeah?
The tone of this article, to the fact they had to apologize, to the total nothing level of offense in the messages themselves. The internet outrage culture is so tiresome.
I am so completely done with this absolutely fucking moronic, misguided horseshit crusade against Epic.
Look, I get it, the Epic store has a long way to go, but it’s been around for FOUR GODDAMN MONTHS! Valve has had 12 YEARS to develop and build up Steam to where it is now. Yes there are things the Epic store should…
It’s a six month deal. Seriously if you’re disdain for loading a different program besides Steam is more intense than your love for the game you for some reason can’t play then I don’t know what to tell you. Like, I get it. We all have our hills we die on. But like, I just don’t get it. At all. You do you though.
Thanks for the clarification. I completely disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion, as am I. Regardless, I enjoy reading your work. Thanks again!
4:3 is a weird ratio?
