If you had an average wage of $730a YEAR, you wouldn't want to be forced into buying a hybrid.

You know, I look at that photo and know why the Chinese don't care about hybrid: it's that with all the other sources of air pollution they could all drive electrics and it'd barely make a dent in the pollution situation. If it would make any difference they'd probably bite, but China's air is too far gone.
No, they aren't big on wasting money reducing gaseous carbon emissions. Now that AGW is on the verge of being fully abandoned as a correct theory by the likes of the IPCC, the Economist , and the EU, the chinese consumer is ahead of north americans and europeans by avoiding hybrids.
Surprise, surprise.
What goes a-round comes a-round
These should stop before these treads get wheely bad.
This is wonderful.
Dammit you beat me to it lol. I guess you would have beat me anyway because of this fucking comment approving shit.
135hp from a 1.6L (1.8?) was what, 2 decades ago? If you haven't noticed, things have improved just a *tad* since then, offering more power *and* more efficiency / less emissions. In ~1990 the 135hp Integra was going up against cars like the v6 Probe GT which only had a whopping 5 more horsepower.
+MAX_INT - I wish they would update the Integra. I love my Integra, and I'm keeping it until it dies.
I know it's new, but Shaq in a Buick claiming he fits. He doesn't. Knee above windowsill.
I saw the headline and was going to post exactly this. Sure, the Si is sporty but it is based on a ho-hum platform that is being outgunned by nearly everything at this point. I bought an 08 Si and had fun with it (no reliability concerns at track days) but regretted the purchase for the duration of my ownership.
The Integra had quite a fair amount of sport engineering going for it over the Civic, especially in its first iteration. Civics had SOHC, manual steering, and were kind of chintzy IIRC. The Integra had a DOHC 16v engine, power steering, other improvements, and flip-up headlamps, which made the difference all on their…
HEY! It's not a re-badged Civic, it has thinker windows so you have less noise inside. That is work the extra $6000 right??
I love Honda but Acura... I don't understand why the same engine from the 06 TSX is being used (K24A7)? I know it has an updated ECU, whoopdie doo. Has Honda completely lost their engineering prowess? This is the best they can do after 7 years? This is why this car doesn't sell, people will go to buy a Honda Civic…
We need the Integra back.
My brother and I went car shopping in California, and he lives in Illinois. Then, we roadtripped the car to Illinois. I waited until Christmas to point out to him (and our parents) that the 9-2x we'd bought is actually the turbo version, aka WRX. They had no idea until I brought it up... :)
EVERY married, male Subaru driver has told his wife that EXACT same lie!
