Almost bought a used one of these. Tires were worn and mismatched, trans shifted harsh, and the breaks squealed, hooned to death. These are best when bought new.
I thought about this one too. Would be number 1 for "What is the best waaaay too expensive hatchback?"
Had a Subaru, 05 Legacy GT wagon 5-speed and a set of Michelin Alpins for the winter. I really miss that car :(
If Honda brought this exact car back today, I would buy one tomorrow.
Love the old Minis. I had an '04 Cooper S that I miss greatly. What I always wondered is, if the MKI GTI is the father of hot-hatches, what does that make the Mini? The grandfather?
Well done, definitely on my bucket list of cars to drive one day.
No prob, glad you liked it.

Anyone else think Dodge should try to shoe-horn a Cummins into a Charger for shits and giggles?
True, but the TDI Sportwagen moves in relatively good numbers and for some insane reason Acura still keeps the TSX wagon around.
Also one letter away from "joke." I think the naming session went like this: "Ah, is that a joke? the car makes me want to puke!" Then a dude that was half asleep said "What...? Juke? Perfect!"
I would guess most Audi owners don't know any better. Just like most BMW owners haven't a clue they are driving a inline-6.
And I love all of VW/Audi AG forced-induced engines but c'mon....it is kind of silly. Especially for Germans who are known to be more precise with matters of engineering.
