I have an OBDLink LX Bluetooth scanner always plugged into my car and synced to my phone. I check on it from time to time or just watch the sensor readouts in live time just to make sure everything is OK. Codes pop up instantly too, so that’s always nice.

Drive a car without variable valve timing then hop in a modern car with it, and it isn’t terribly hard to notice a better power delivery. And the variable systems are getting better all the time. I know the advantages of vvt isn’t instantanesouly noticeable, there is certainly a performance benefit.

The last thing pulled from my awesome local junkyard was a front seat from a Chrysler Conquest TSi to make myself a gaming chair. Oh, and the seatbelts that say “Turbo” on them from the same car.
