This game seemed to follow one of the two Panthers blueprints: fall way behind, look like one of the worst teams in the League, then come back and go ahead late...only to leave it to the the defense to hold on by the skin of their nads for the win.

we wouldn’t have to go through this embarrassing trial for the sanctity of the game or whatever if the NCAA wasn’t such a greedy cartel of an organization.
Austin Albion would be my choice.
What’s more is that the Hurricanes are playing a brand of hockey that is fun to watch. They are winning games 5-3 and 8-5. Even non-fans will like games that have 13 goals in them.
I guess Iceland missed the “in the NHL” part.
why the fuck not?
My hope is that if this is “everyone” then the full story comes out and the system is changed. As it looks now, there are a few schools mentioned, and for all appearances, it seems they will be made examples of (by the NCAA) and then it’s back to business as usual and nothing changes.
There would certainly be good branding opportunities for UnderArmor or even Nike and Adidas.
As an Atlanta fan, I’d certainly like to thank the Marlins for going 5-14 against the Braves.
There are a lot of splashy subscription boxes that are fun for a while, but I have found a lot of use in the utilitarian subscription companies...for example, FilterEasy sends me new HVAC filters on a custom schedule: once a month during the spring and fall when pollen counts are high here, and every other month the…

Most United supporters will agree with Pogba. To them, Mourhino’s “pragmatic” style translates to “boring” and “not the United way.” The latter part is true — for the most part, United have a history of an attacking mindset and a team that played to win by trying to put the opposition on their back heels. That goes…
Mavis Staples (formerly of the Staple Singers) is 79 and she’s still got it...here she does the old Talking Heads song “Slipperly People” and turns it into a 1970's R&B jam...
I remember talking to an old NFL veteran back in the 1990's about Matt Snell. I asked him what it was like to try to tackle the guy. He shrugged, pointed to a parked pickup truck and said “about like standing in front of that thing and trying to stop it.”
The Braves desperately need new talent in their booth. Actually, any talent.
A lot of what determines a coffee is “good” goes far beyond the variety of bean, it also includes how fresh it is, whether it was properly ground and the temperature it was brewed.
Hugh Freeze, being a self-professed born-again Christian, probably had many a religious moment with his escorts. His prayers probably went something like “oh god, oh God, OH GOD!!!”
It may come as a surprise to some people, but smoking cannabis was a fairly widespread thing in the 1970's when I was in high school. I was constantly surprised by folks who were presented themselves as straitlaced would fire one up when they thought no one was looking.
Nothing like a golden shower after a tough practice. That’ll make a real man out of you. (eyes rolling)
Bring them on to face the Carolina Courage, then. Let’s see what they’re really made of.
