“The Nova-C lander will launch atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.”

Unlikely. SpaceX has not been launching uncrewed Falcon 9's from Kennedy Space Center for some time now. It will almost certainly be launched from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, which is not a NASA facility

There’s a term that describes folks that install “.0" releases of pretty much any software: beta testers.

“Apple is not impacted by a 30% commission that everyone else in the App store is impacted by.”

5120 x 2880 pixels is the available resolution of the 27-inch model.  I say that as I type on one of them. 1080p is the resolution of the video camera.

I’ve always been curious about the “criminal history” aspect of certain countries requirements. Are minor traffic offenses (NOT driving while impaired) disqualifying? Other misdemeanors? What, exactly?

Instead, Braga turned the show into Gilligan’s Island in Space, where you knew every scheme to get home would fail, except when the end of the show was at hand and you knew that they’d finally succeed.

It’s really good to see a Star Trek series that has Romulans rather than Klingons heavily involved in the plot.  The Romulans have always been underutilized in the overall ST universe, IMO.

And history shows that prohibition is an effective deterrent.

Oxygen cannot burn itself.

On the other hand, my three year old F-150 boat-hauler feels absolutely sure-footed at 80-85, but if there were sudden, extreme maneuvering required (say, a deer or pedestrian out on the tarmac) or nose-down anti-lock braking, that vehicle’s weight and high center of gravity would possibly be the death of me.

Those are slave wages in today’s market.*

I’m going to guess that Paul Finebaum was hired to “be the next Skip Bayless” by ESPN...as if we needed the first one in the first place.

That doesn’t look terribly different than the driving position in my old 240Z

It’s worth pointing out that it until late October 1968 LSD was a legal drug in most places in the US. In fact, a decent chemist armed with a 1956 paper from the Journal of the American Chemical Society could fairly easily make it...and in the Bay Area, many did just that.

Some SJW on Twitter was trying to say that song “is racist.”

I’m counting the days until noted football genius Ed Woodward pays £200M for him to be his next failed saviour of Manchester United.
