I bet they get together, have some wine and laugh their asses off at how much free publicity their “feud” creates for them both.

Raping children, no problem. Sham classes, no problem. Pickup soccer game with a rock band? Oh my God, probation!
José is trying to go the Full Cantona™ with the wacky philosophy. It’s almost like he said “it is enjoyable to make things visible which are invisible” this morning, and you have to wonder when he will utter something like “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the…
MLB and the Marlins’ ownership need to admit that baseball in Miami just isn’t happening. Surely there are potential fans in other cities that would support a franchise — for example, Charlotte. There would immediately be a far more intense rivalry with the Braves and Nats were the Marlins to relocate there.
When the fuck did the “apology commercial” become a thing?
Fair point about Moyes, but that doesn’t explain LVG, a manager notorious for burning bridges, and then Mourhino, another one who has a short shelf life. Neither were viable long-term, and both were Woodward’s choice.
And rumor has it that David “Feckin” Moyes is a potential candidate to permanently lead the USMNT. If that comes to pass, expect this generation to wilt and fail.
Mourhino is only part of the problem. A large part, to be sure, but to omit saying that Chief Executive Ed Woodward has a sizeable chunk of the blame is to only paint part of the picture.
Exactly the same on my 2016.
Maybe Newton is not the second coming of Drew Brees, but criticism from the likes of Kelvin Benjamin is laughable. Steve Smith Jr., that’s a different story, but not Benjamin.
Yep, Benjamin loved to come to camp fat, dumb and unhappy.

The Athletic, which has been systematically pillaging talent from local newspapers for more than a year
Cal is a shoe-in to win their season opener against UNC.
Give me $10M and I could live very nicely, on a Caribbean island, and never bother anyone ever again. Why can’t Charlie Sheen?
I bet he’s a lot of fun at Klan parties.
Those guys are just mad that the only “date” they can get is with Rosie Palm.
The Braves first used the method of dumping out their team in in the late 1980's, making trades like when they sent Doyle Alexander from the to Tigers for some Double-A right-hander named John Smoltz. They made other trades, and stocked the pond for 1990 when GMJohn Schuerholz when he took over the team in 1990.
The Mets would be wise to follow the Braves model and divest themselves of almost all of their top talent for prospects and draft picks. Then they could build a contender from the bottom up and invest in key free agents at the right time.
You’re correct in that a number of folks predicted the predicament we are in. I would add Alvin and Heidi Toffler’s “Future Shock” to the list. The book was exceptionally accurate in a lot of its predictions.
