Half of the nation is on fire, but that is nothing to the burning loins of Ms. Cheung. You do you lady, but I’m living for the backyard barbecue that was the most adorable birthday date for one Mr. Henry Cavill and his girlfriend.
Years ago—at least 11 but probably more—my dad showed me a PowerPoint that was all about the Replacement Theory but I didn’t know what it was called. It was horrifying and I told him so. We had a conversation that shook me to my core because he was so blinded with fear and rage by the idea of that BIPOC might make…
Thank you for saying their names
Glad that worked for you!
Fun Fact: It’s actually possible to calculate Harlow’s approximate height from the basketball photo.
I don’t know who you hang out with, but 5'9" is a pretty average height. At least in the US.
Prediction: The response in the comments to how needlessly mean-spirited this is will be far more entertaining than any of the actual slides.
“had to close unexpectedly" means that they aren't paying or treating their people well enough to stick around.
Grosse Point Blank is one of my favourite movies. Minnie Driver and John Cusack played so well off of each other. There isn’t a bad scene with the two of them together.
I will always love Minnie Driver. She came to my city for a local cancer org’s fundraiser, and my dad happened to be in the hospital at the time being treated for pancreatic cancer (he unfortunately passed away nine years ago this month). She took the time to visit with a ton of patients, including my dad, without PR…
Literally every single below the line person on a Marvel movie is a consummate pro working at the top of their game and the top of their profession. There’s no reason to throw them under a bus and say, “well, people can be nice and suck at their job.” There’s just no way you get and keep that kind of job if you’re not…
THIS THIS THIS. It always gets misread as “forced hysterectomy = monster” and that has never been Natasha’s point there.
I think there are definitely a lot of components that can play into it:
Or Age of Ultron since that wasn’t the argument Natasha was making in that film. To the contrary, in fact. She was making the point that while Bruce was a monster because of what he was, she was a monster because of what she had done. She had "chosen" a life with no remorse, no feeling, no connections. (We of course…
yup, i think most people who dislike this movie ( not saying it was perfect). Do not get the story. It was deeper. And as a person who has fits of depression. Knows people who lived thruh wars. Knows people who have had loss that should not have happend. I found the movie very decent.
Since this is a SPOILER -marked thread, and I just finished watching the movie, I have to ask:
I’m pretty sure that Wanda is not actually dead. There is surely a whole Wanda redemption story coming. If she is as powerful as she is supposed to be, then one collapsing building isn’t going to be enough to take her out.
Wanda was destined to become a villain since the day they decided to adapt the character from the comics, because that’s exactly what happens in the comics.
That can be addressed. Instead of reheating it, leave it cold, shred it, and make a chicken-salad sandwich out of it. This also avoids the problem of chicken drying out when it is reheated.
