On October 1st, when the app goes live on the Play Store, you'll need an access code to get in. The first 2,000 readers to sign up at the above link will get priority access and receive an access code that day. Everyone else will be part of a staged rollout.

This.

Handcent SMS - has a pop-up option that not only turns your screen on, but give you a pop-up of the SMS message with a reply window so you don't have to go directly to the app to reply.

And for anyone coming from the iPhone ecosystem, Handcent SMS has a iPhone skin that will help you feel right at home.

Ray-Ban, Oakley, Arnette, Revo, and Persol - all premium sunglass brands now owned by Luxottica.

Nice find - thanks!

I can't find that option on the HD+ - which is really the only downer for me.

How'ed you root it? Or did you use the trick of loading it on a SD card?

Best investment I've made in a few years is a $149 Nook HD+. Loaded Apex Launcher and now you'd never know this tablet isn't a Nexus 7'esqe capable tablet.

My only hope is now that B&N is abandoning the Nook they'll unlock the bootloader and get the dev community involved with keeping the Nook HD/HD+ alive.

Good gawds - ranking 36 variants of yellow water.

Checked Programs & Features - version 2.0.2. I don't know what's going on but I've been doing this for a while.

I'm not talking about moving a file into the public folder, right-click > copy public link. I'm talking about any file in any folder within my dropbox folder. Program version 2.0.2 installed March 29, 2013 (when I re-formatted my system).

No...I'm not thinking right-click > dropbox menu > share link > open a webpage > post.

I've been doing this for months - how is this new?

This.

I won't disagree with you - you'll save money.

Zenni's 'outstanding reputation' is unfounded. I've seen their work and I'm not impressed. Their lab is in China and they don't follow ANSI standards. But I can argue until I'm blue in the face about all the problems of buying eyewear online - but there will always be people willing to put their pocketbooks before

"The lenses are often from the same suppliers as the national b&m chains and the lenses are cut in high-quality labs with trained professionals that are just as good at their jobs as those working for a national chain."

As a former optician I'm not going to go into all the reasons you shouldn't buy eyewear online. But I'll say this - if your Rx is stronger than a +/- 2.50 please be careful. If the optical centers of your lenses are even 1mm off from your PD then your eyewear is out of ANSI tolerance.

Want some cheese with that whine?

You need the desktop app. The mobile apps just give you on the spot entering of data synced to the desktop app.
