I think that was more a technological limitation than ND being bullshitters. TLOU2 would have never been able to look as good as it did in 60fps on PS4, so they chose to be visually stunning over 60fps. IMO the correct decision. 

Holding out for ray tracing before I play through it again... Hopefully we get that soon. 

I’ll probably grab this, but would love if we got a little closer, story-wise, back to the original mythology of the series. These side stories with tenuous connections to Umbrella and cameos by series regulars kinda feel like missed opportunities...

I wasn’t in love with the VILLAGE demo, but I also wasn’t in love with the first hour of RE7. It took awhile for that game to click for me, but when it did, I really enjoyed it. Something about the art style I think. It’s really... I don’t know, boring, maybe?

That’s exactly why I won’t be getting the ME remaster. Sinking nearly 200 hours into the original mass effect trilogy was hard enough... I can’t justify doing it again when I have such a ludicrous backlog!

I will never, ever understand why people feel the need to shit on things they don’t like, rather than just quietly not liking them and instead devoting their energy to championing things they do like.

Yeah, I knew “Gypsy” was somewhat insensitive but calling it a slur was new to me. It was such a common word in American slang up until fairly recently (i.e. getting “gypped”) that I think most people don’t realize that it’s now taboo.

I cannot think of a game that should be remade LESS than this one. 

There are apparently 2 secret friends in this first ladder level and I have NO idea where.  I’ll have to go back eventually!

I was able to do this without mines (though it took a ton of time.)

In the first section, take control of the top left slig and use him to kill the others as they approach from the right. Each level on the right gets two enemies and you need to be accurate if you dont want them to get a shot off, because they almost…

I redid the first ladder section (where you have to protect 200 friends from two rounds of sligs) dozens of times before I was able to do it without losing anyone. Pleased with myself, I finished the level only to discover there were 2 SECRET friends I missed somewhere along the way.

God damnit, now I have to go back.…

I would assume that utilities do not allow you to pay with a credit card. It’s been my experience that they need debit or direct deduction from a checking account.

Right. I’m probably gonna watch it despite the fact that I’ve only enjoyed maybe ONE of the DCEU films. Do I expect to like this? No, not really, but I have HBO Max already so why pour a drink and check it out? 

Seeing the early reviews for the Synder Cut, it appears Whedon’s insane ego was *a* problem on JL, but far from the only one.
