Arya could not beat the Night King head on. She’s trained to assassinate, not be a warrior in battle. Someone needed to distract the Night King for her to pull it off.

The entire SHIP (presumably with everyone on it) went through the quantum realm. So they used her device to bring EVERYONE, not just her.
