Yeah, seen this in a bar in North Georgia - someone doing a Ghost Pepper Wings challenge. He completed it but was sobbing and leaking from his eyes and ears. He “won” though - Polaroid picture on the wall and a shitty t-shirt. But good on him, I guess.

Do the middle rows not have the latch system available for car seats? On the video with Otto it looked like just the seat belt was being used to hold in his seat.

There was a AAA manager that I encountered a few years ago while doing some summer mascot work who’d go down onto the steps between the clubhouse and the dugout and smoke at the end of the inning, every time, every game, every trip to town.

The Tim Richmond story about green is interesting because didn’t he only move to tin-tops after a bad wreck in an Indy car and his mother’s insistence that he not race them anymore?

I’m pretty sure they lined the entire stanchion up incorrectly on both ends. Pictures from the baseline (Craig Sager III on twitter) so the backboard as just barrel in bounds. Apparently there were a lot of players stepping out after rebounds, too.

This place is an absolute shit hole. Been down there for the finals in previous years. GHSA always says it’s too ease travel for basketball. Issue is that most of the teams are from the Atlanta area (plus state finals are played in Georgia dome). This is certainly the venue so they can save money on rental/usage fees.

I couldn’t believe that the base price doesn’t include the carbon brake dics (+$10k required option) but the steel option ($0) isn’t available. I know in this strata no one is buying the car with steel discs, anyway, so that must totally be a marketing/advertising to say base price is under $160,000 delivered.

I’d buy one of these and a Merc CLK gtr and be happy

Maserati MC12. Or... there were only two homologation road cars built but Panoz GTR-1.

Idon’t believe it does. I looked into it when I rented a large van for a road trip thinking my buddies could drink and I wouldn’t have a sip. But since I didn’t have a chauffeur’s license open container violations were still a risk. So in a vehicle with a professional driver (cdl/chauffeur at least in Georgia) the

Ah, the 2015 Worthersee... I was on my way to a cabin in the N. Georgia mountains and got caught in the Helen traffic jam. I really enjoyed the hour or so it took to go the 1.5 miles through the town, though. Not necessarily a look I would pursue but can certainly appreciate the enthusiasim. Also, lots of awesome

Just got my renewal for Liberty, went up $15/month. Some of this is likely due to losing out on the “new policy” discount I got for signing up. Whatever, daycare went down by $15/week, so I’m coming out a bit ahead.

I went with a CPO 2013 (~9500 miles on it) a year and a half ago. RWD, 3.8. The performance of the 3.8 is pretty good - eats up highway miles with decent mpgs, too. I had a 350z for 8 years before this and besides the transmission being laggy, I’ve no complaints. I love the look of the 14/15 but can’t jump to the

I’ve always gotten pre-approved from PenFed online via bankrate (or at least printed out their current rates) when going in to car shop and have used that as a bargaining tool, either for a more competitive rate or a “make it worth my while” to finance with you instead of them.

a roommate bought a sedan version with the dark blue seats. Almost immediately they started showing signs of wear. Within two years as a daily driver it really started to detract from the car. Otherwise, for 10+ years old, it’s a pretty good looking car.

Wasn’t his brother just in ICU too?

Thanks for the links. Pretty interesting/crazy. Not surprising giving smuggling’s history in this country though.

What have you paid in deductibles? What about in lost time (which isn’t as much an issue for you as it would be for someone with regular work hours) but still a little annoying likely?

With some of the horrible stories about civil forfeitures that have been floating around (and likely even more unreported) I’d think twice about carrying any large amount of money at this point.

Happened in Atlanta with an all night/late night bar. It had been here forever but once the condos went up it’s days were numbered.
