We have one of these installed at the entrance to my neighborhood in suburban ATL. I raised all the data and access questions 4 years ago when it was installed. Allegedly only the safety and security team in the neighborhood has access to the data.... my question at the time was what happens to all of our data when

My brother lives on Geist. The water level is really low right now so they’re finding all kinds of stuff buried in the silt on fish finder radars (this is the second car of the year). They have also been dredging the bottom to try and improve the water quality, too, so they likely would’ve hit it with the excavator at

Memory seats, as well.

I also had to drive mine in Atlanta!  Drove from Buckhead to 285, via Peacthree and Rosewell Roads (I was new to Atlanta and was trying to minimize the turns).  It was not fun, between the trees and the narrow lanes.

HA, same! I’d reserved a “small truck” for an in-town Atlanta move (single bedroom apartment) but that truck wasn’t returned.

I’ve read or seem somewhere else that these race cars have done quite well on the historic race circuit because tire technology has improved so much and the tires have caught up with the 6-wheeled design. I can't remember where I saw this previously. Off to Google now.

I picked up one of those cheap plug in/battery back up CO detectors a while ago and throw it in my bag for trips where we’ve rented a house/condo just to plug in as extra piece of mind.

This is likely to get lost amongst some of the other great conversations and comments that I came upon a day after this post went up.

came here to say this, can’t recommend the podcast enough.

And it’s not like there would’ve been an actual McLaren in the race to root for, anyway...

The Dinner with Racers podcast talked to Don Whittington and Randy Lanier separately about their racing careers and some of the off track stuff - Lanier was more open to talking about it because he’s been more open about his past.

It says right in the listing for most of the import vehicles, the R34 included, that they are off road use/track use only and cannot be registered. That they don’t meet EPA Emissions standards, etc. So that presumably answers the question on legality.

Tom, regarding the as is vs dealer warranty... the last 2 CPO vehicles we purchased were marked this way.  The reason as it was explained to us was that the dealer isn’t the one offering the warranty, the manufacturer is, hence the reason for that declaration on the window sticker.  I certainly checked and double

My ‘02 Focus SVT (RIP) had the block heater as part of the cold weather package (heated seats, etc). Living in Atlanta it was a somewhat extraneous option but the seats were nice.

We were right near where Ralf came to rest, as well, and having been to quite a few 500s couldn't believe how long it took the safety crew to get to him after what was clearly a massive hit.

Found this about it:

Got the Pete part correct.

Nope.

Was scheduled to travel as the mascot for a large, midwestern, land grant university to an NCAA tournament game in ABQ, the day (early morning) after a friends 21st birthday. Was out all night and drank too much. Woke up 10 minutes before the charter flight was leaving, pulled on a suit, threw some clothes and the

thanks! Had no idea.
