"what the fuck are they thinking?"
Yea, I played SWG for a good period of time as well UNTIL... you know the story.
"It's not feasible right now to create a real Elder Scrolls MMO."
Apologies, I had just read an article between your reply and mine that irritated me and my response was a bit terse. As you said, you were just offering options for what I had mentioned we should give this game a chance for. Appreciated.
There are only a handful of good RVR games out there. Most of which are in their death throws. GW2 is the only game currently coming out with full siege/destructible buildings so as this is being designed by DAoC's lead RVR dev, it has hopes to offer great pvp.
For as boring as it might come off as being, I'd love an mmo where I am allowed to be a shop owner, and that's my trade/class. Be it a standard merchant, luxury goods, blacksmith. I could either adventure for items to sell/craft or reagents to craft things out of, but if you want anything past the standard white item…
I knew this reply was coming. I kept the post about the TES MMO since that's what the article is about. There are a few up coming games with RvR and I'll likely be giving them a look as well. I was merely trying to stay on topic. I played the BWE with lots of DAoC folks as well, but it doesn't pertain to whether the…
The -=*ONLY*=- Reason I hold hope for this game is the fact that the pvp/rvr is by the same guy who did DAoC's rvr. As described it'll be RvRvR, so before I go saying I'll write it off as a failure I'll wait and see what it offers.
Never had the chance to play it. But the level design at the least looks good. Via the videos though, it's rather annoying that they'd give so many characters blasters and have them used as clubs.
Hrm, yea. Every clip that has Emma Stone in it makes me cringe. I can't be the only one who doesn't like her acting. She seems like every character she's played to date, with a different hair color.
Spend less money on jars and candles and buy a second monitor kid. Slacker.
Poor lion, I almost feel that it should be tossed a consolation vomit larva just for the fact it's being referred to as kitty kitty.
The pikachu should have been painted red, so it'd go faster.
Truth, I muted it and watched the video.
The problem is, I wasn't trying to dodge your "challenge" it's more that nothing really stood out to me one way or another, hence the boredom. Character creation wasn't as fleshed out as some mmos I've played, but more so than most. Pve combat was tab click, tab click, tab click.
I'm always running double monitors, and I replaced my 8800gt with it as well, seems most everyone is on the same wave length.
I think I'd rather be forced to listen to christmas songs on loop than this.
As I'm the one bored with mmos in general, it might be better you sell me on what was innovative about the game rather than me list the reasons as to why it bored me. What sparked your interest?
"Care to back up how 90% of ladders were for Renegades 2k? Because the vast majority of people I played with in T1 and T2 loathed Renegades. It was base (T1) / classic (T2) or bust."
