But they're still black people with black brothers who will probably interact with a lot of black men and possibly go on to date and/or marry black men and possibly go on to have black sons. Isn't it good for them to know also? Plus, having a serious life talk that only involves some of your kids is a REALLY GOOD

I describe myself as a Quaker because I have attended weekly Quaker meeting, I have adopted the moral code of the faith and I like the Quaker testimonies - "there is that of God in every person" is a beautiful way of describing my feelings about equality and human worth.

I'm a Quaker (not spiritual, I have only adopted the moral code of the faith) and I take my pacifism extremely seriously. I think about this a lot, actually. I know that people are violent under pressure. I've read the Milgram experiment, I know about soldiers who drive themselves crazy with regret after killing

Which needs of yours are comparable to this?

Well considering that "dead" people have been resuscitated before, and "brain-dead" people can be kept alive on a kinda biological level, maybe we also need a debate about different degrees of deadness and the moral implications of that.

I would actually be very interested to see Irish step dancing filtered through African American pop culture. Can someone start this as a thing?

Nitpick: Hangeul isn't the word for the Korean language, it's the word for the Korean alphabet. Hangeugo is the Korean language. It doesn't get in the way of the article or anything, just thought you should know.

UGH I come from a family of doctors and I HAAAATE people who habitually distrust medical professionals. HATE. Especially mental health professionals, but I digress.

I mean, I would think that was fine, but idk. Ask yourself if your behavior would make you uncomfortable if someone else did it to you - if the answer is no then you're probably good.

The biggest fight I have ever had with my boyfriend is when he didn't call his friend out for not wanting to tip a waiter. I called the guy out, added to the tip as we were leaving, tried not to make a scene, and went home LIVID.

Serious question: how is this worse than horseback riding? It's unnatural for the animal and possibly uncomfortable, but I don't think most non-human species have much regard for "consent" in the first place.

Why do you want to give untrained, biased, frightened civilians the choice to take someone's life?

Thank you. Petty theft shouldn't be a death sentence. Well, honestly I oppose death sentences in general, but if they have to happen they shouldn't be carried out on the spot by civilians with no deep understanding of the situation.

I think what separates murderers from non-murderers is the fact that murderers kill people, and if she were to kill someone without knowing the full context that would make her a murderer.

Ew. Are you a psychopath?

Yeah but what if he really was drunk and lost in the wrong apartment, and she shot him dead? That seems like a worse outcome than her being frightened but safe in the end.

Yeah I think at least half of the people I know would look at these pictures. Maybe I'm a sociopath or super unfeeling or something, but I feel like if nude pictures of me were leaked I wouldn't blame the people who were overcome with curiosity? I think I'd blame the person who stole them and shared them.

The point is that this woman thinks she's too sexy by the standards of the dudes who frequent dating sites for online dating to be tolerable for her. The dudes who frequent dating sites may be wrong, but by their metric so is she.

I'm all for non-destructive pranks. Releasing turkeys numbered (1), (2), and (4) into a university and watching people go crazy looking for turkey number three is legitimately hilarious. All the seniors at my high school switching places with the seniors at our rival high school and showing up to class as if nothing

Are you my freshman year roommate?
