Heck a 3 series batter replacement costs almost 700. indy shops can’t do them nor can autozone or yourself withought buying a BMW computer to reset the “Battery destroyer”. Seriously. you can’t just replace a battery anymore.

All that for an oil change?
That truck has more of a traction issue than a power issue.
I’ve owned 3 of them. This!
it’s not the engine that costs on the M5, although it certainly can, it’s all the other stuff.
$3500 for a transmission computer, $700 for a battery replacement, $1200 for an alternator, $1200 for an oil cooler, $5000 for a failed ABS module.
The engine can still grenade itself with failed rod bearings, but I think…
I know many fellow instructors in their 60s & 70s. When they aren’t having various joints replaced, they are fast as f*ck...
Depends. One of the best drivers I know is 76, and while he is now selling his track car, for the past 6 years I’ve been doing track days he’s been kicking ass and taking names.
It’s hard to say, I know of 70 year olds flying vintage fighter and racing planes better than anyone. Wish I knew if there were mechanical factors at work here, or driver error.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep. Like my grandma did.
True but wouldn’t you rather go out doing something you love, than strapped to a hospital bed withering away?
“Most of us know that the CAN Bus is the nervous system of a modern car.”
If its anything like the Rangers were (which it should be considering they shared parts). 1st and 3rd you’ll smash your hand into the dash, 2nd and 4th are at the same level as your seat, and 5th gear is in the passenger foot well, and reverse is in the passenger’s knees. Still enjoyed driving those under-powered…
As the owner of both a ‘66 Mustang and ‘66 Dodge Coronet (same b-body platform as the Charger), I can tell you the driving experience of the Mustang makes it hands-down the better car. The b-body is a boat and rides and handles like one. The Mustang is lighter, more nimble and in general just more fun to drive.
What state are you in for these ridiculous and shitty inspections? The only good thing Jesse Ventura ever did for MN was get rid of this stupid bullshit.
What are the chances this guy is actually painting his car with PCP (drug with a street name of “angel dust” or “MOON DUST”) and he actually has no lunar rock at all? That could explain why he is mum on where he got it or how much he has of it...
“Rare” does not always translate to “valuable” or “desirable”.
So small you could crate it up and have it shipped freight.
