All most all profit generating programs (which are few) pay for other sports, which really isn’t giving back to the University per se, just keeping like minded groups going. Most sports programs could disappear with little impact…

I disagree. Many peds learn what they learn in med school and never bother looking at new info and studies that are released. Multiple opinions should definitely be sought out.
