Never played Escape Velocity. Basically, there’s a large universe to explore, most of it uninhabited outside the “bubble” of civilized systems. But that mostly just involves scanning the system and jumping to the next one (you get credit and can sell the data). Other than that, you can bounty hunt, do combat in

30 hours worth of non repeating content.

My PS4 is starting to sound like a one lunged morbidly obese ninety year old strapped with two bandoliers of anchors from Spanish treasure galleons trying to climb Kilamanjaro. I fear its imminent demise and may have to upgrade in the near future.

The fact that you’re hoping somebody tears this guy a new asshole when all he’s doing is offering reasonable advice with a nice heap of stuff that you certainly disagree with but is ultimately harmless says far more about you than him, and I say this as an agnostic.

Nice advice. From a non christian perspective, I think drowning should have seen his pastor rather than posting online.

I’m not sure what kind of answer “Drowning” was looking for asking someone relationship advice who 1)does not share the same faith convictions or 2)ascribes to a “whatever feels good/works for you philosophy” or 3) isn’t even a doctor.

I just don’t think gaming really needs celebrity culture. Let’s keep it about the games.

It's the same system as guild wars which isn't considered free to play. You have to buy it. Games like Warframe and Tera are free to play. Calling a game that isn't free a free to play is wrong and misleading.

I agree. It’s a joke that assclown has to disrupt the economic center of the nation—costing the city millions in security and lost productivity—just so he can present his arrogant ass on the Tonight Show.

See...It’s always stories like this. Fighting games, beyond release, are never highlighted here. But when some dumb fuck does some stupid shit, Here’s an essay. How about covering Ibuki’s possible ban at EVO and the lack of communication between Capcom and the organizers, let alone the community as a whole? Why ALWAYS

Dammit, the answer was exercise. I was trying to avoid that.

Jesus can you be any more condescending in two words?

I get where you’re going and I don’t necessarily disagree with all of it. But I do think this newfound fad of saying things are bad because they take themselves “too seriously” is just... Harmful, at best. Not only because it permeates this cultural acceptance that “Serious things are bad”, but also because it implies

You know SJW is a derogatory term tho right? It’s like being accused of white knighting.

Anti-intellectualism is such a sad and potentially destructive trend in our culture.

Or they can just put tits in their comics if they want. They aren’t beholden to any feminist moral code.

They forgot the people that feel the need to prove they are gamers, they talk about all video games regardless of whether they have knowledge of the franchise or not. I see this mostly in female gamers that try to prove to their male counterparts that they are, in fact ... gamers.

As somebody who played the game, is in the middle of Golden, played Arena, watched the anime, read the manga AND has several gay and bi friends who've done the same?

Homophobic?

I like coming on Kotaku, but I find myself annoyed so frequently. I really wish you guys would get off this "Hey we're totally LGBT, feminist, minority, minority etc." trip. We get it. You don't have to call things out and talk about how much you hate it to show how modern you all are.
