I don't know. I'm not too knowledgeable about these sorts of things.

He was justified in his suspicion of Trayvon because Trayvon matched the description of people who had been breaking into houses in the area. If I saw a guy waling down my street looking into windows, and he was wearing the same colored hoodie as reported burglars, I would call the police. I wouldn't follow them,…
If I follow you, it does not give you the right to attack me.
Well they initially didn't arrest him because it appeared to them to be clear self-defense. They fucked up and should have collected more evidence.
He was describing Trayvon. What should he have said? "He appears to be of the African persuasion." or "He appears to be melanin enriched gentleman."
Maybe, maybe not. HOWEVER, if the situation was the exact same except for the races reversed (Trayvon hispanic, Zimmerman black) I still think that Zimmerman should be acquitted. There simply wasn't enough evidence.
Z had a broken nose and lacerations on the back of his head. There was witness testimony that T was on top of Z. However, there was no Zimmerman DNA on Trayvon's hands.
Do you not understand the concept of self defense?
Whoosh
Do you have evidence to indicate that that is the case?
Yes. And if you didn't go out on the town, you wouldn't get raped.
Do you know that for sure?
We really don't know what Z was doing prior to the confrontation and whether or not T punching Z was justified.
You're looking at it the wrong way. As I see it, if GZ actually confronted Trayvon, he probably wanted to question Trayvon about his activities, seeing as how there were recent break-ins and Trayvon matched the description of the suspects. He didn't fee threatened when he was in the car, he probably felt threatened…
Possibly. Although you're right, I wouldn't put much trust in her testimony.
The burden of proof is on you. I see a self defense situation that has a lot of complications.
It sounds like you're trying to justify unprovoked assault. Stand your ground only applies if someone was attacking you. As far as we know, GZ wasn't attacking TM, although he could have been.
HURR DURR I DISAGREE WITH YOU SO YOU MUST BE A TROLL DERP DERP
THIS
Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Sure, he was a dumbass. But he still has a right to self defense.
