There’s hours of video essays on the topic at this point that largely focus around story, pacing, narrative structure and characterisation.

I’ve not tried a challenge like this, but I’ve done ones where I limit myself to, for example, only one type of weapon.
Yes, it does work on that premise. I don’t think you are saying anything profound here given that I couched my point in that specific context. But I do think you are being unwittingly intellectually dishonest a bit here.
Could have just read the follow up replies for context.
The simplest solution is to let everyone do whatever they want as long as it’s not hurting anyone, and everyone can respond to that however they want as long as they aren’t hurting anyone.
Not as impressive as your comment that ignored the follow up comment and thread in your rush to post (yet another!) comment no different from the other 200 that must be stacked up at this point :D
Thanks. I didn’t realise that when a user replies to their own comment it appears directly below and not at the bottom of the stack. I’ve taken your advice and done just that.
Whoops. As noted below I scrolled down and missed the first two sentences (glossing over the subheader didn’t help) and did the best to make sense of the rest of the article without the full context (and unfortunately, the exact pieces of context were in the specific areas I missed).
You don’t think that because you didn’t read the comments I wrote (the context) explaining exactly why I missed those parts. And here you are, taking about not reading :D
Thank god for that. Good to know all those people accusing me of not being able to read are able to read themselves!
I can’t remove or edit my comment so I’ve flagged my own comment as spam to see if that will help the mods remove it. I’ve done my part to explain myself and act in good faith.
In some cases using a singular they/them/their usage sounds fine, but there are cases in English where it doesn’t... and I’m not sure why (some extremely subtle grammar rules? Context?).
non-binary person: literally comes out as non binary
They don’t think they will care much either way. The announcement will, for the most part, I imagine be met with shrugs.
Cooler haircut.
TBH I think that is mischaracterising how I read the article.
For the pronoun thing. You try responding to all these comments that are relentless angry and unreasonably antagonistic and keeping a cool head on your shoulders. I can’t edit my posts. So we’re stuck here.
Made a mistake out of force of habit and can’t edit my posts now. That’s not “willfully”.
To quote myself:
I read every word barring the first two sentences (which were under the fold after I scrolled down from the header picture). I did scan around this bits up and down, but in total I think I caught everything.
