Ah yes, the old fan sub mindset :D I’ve always seen them as a fan’s work for their own satisfaction, so I’m of the mindset that they should do them (though I would take a different approach on an actual product).

I’ve just realised something cool.

Sorry mate, but it’s clear to me you want a fight.

These comments are coming thick and fast. I don’t have time to carefully edit them so what you’re getting is a off the cuff response.

I edited my comment to be more constructive and make a more succinct point.

Mate, I’m owning up to a mistake and explaining how I made it. It’s an easy mistake to make.

Granted, but to be honest, who really does? Surely that’s the exception rather than the rule these days?

Just as you wrote that another person upvoted my first post totally. So no, it isn’t everyone.

Okay. Hand on heart I didn’t read all the article. That’s on me. I made an honest mistake and missed some info.

The part where the author made it extremely small, crammed ads around it, then surrounded it with links to unrelated articles, and then, for some reason, made the other less informative quote the mainpiece of the article. That part. Right there.

Read the article again, this time with only the second quote. Without statement it looks like an interpretation, not a fact.

Totally missed it while scrolling because it was formatted differently.

Why did you add emphasis to a point I clearly understood because I addressed it in my post? I clearly did read that quote because my entire point addresses it multiple times :D

No offense, but I think this article, and some people out there are really reaching.

“Whats the point of the joke here? What FUNCTION does it serve”

“Once again, you don’t need to infanitilize Europeans by pretending that they would be shocked and “horrified” by this. It’s literally common knowledge in Europe.”

“I can understand someone who says their art is not specifically political in the sense that it’s not supposed to be about laws, governments, political factions and policymaking in the real world. It may still have political *implications* but it can be read on many levels.”

I’ll address the point you’re alluding too, since you aren’t actually stating it: that there’s some fundamental contradiction in calling out censorship in one case and not another, but there really isn’t.

“There are people out there who are LITERALLY are incapable of developing the hand eye coorindation to complete challenges presented by these games.”

“I mean, there are two sides to understanding and you are putting all the weight on the developer knowing their game and none on the player... knowing themselves.”
