So you’re saying that they should

I like the way you think.

This is the SUV America wants, but electric.  No one wanted the blob of a van Tesla made except people who wanted a tesla that wasn’t a model S

This is gorgeous, especially in that green. Hope they keep that color as an option.

It’s absurd how much I love this idea.

They aren’t renders. The prototypes are real and supposed to go into production as they are.

Late 2020/Early 2021, priced similarly to the truck. Starting in the $60k range and going up to $80k+ probably.

Same as all the others: two years from now, under $35,000.*

Bronco II to go up against Crosstrek and Renegade. Bronco to go after the Wrangler crowd. Makes sense since Ford said icky we don't want anymore cars. They need to expand their lineup to cover the bases from losing the FFF & T.

They probably gave it four doors because they like selling cars.

I kind of like this baby Bronco. I see hints of old Bronco in the design, but I also see hints of Flex in the design...I also love the Flex. This seems like a practical choice for me. (family of 4, commute in a decently sized Midwestern city that sees its fair share of bad winters) Starting price just under $28,000,

Jalopnik liked the Renegade.

Reminder that what you’re seeing is the smaller crossover Baby Bronco, not the body on frame full-meat Bronco. We haven't seen that just yet.

The Bronco II didn’t have a removable roof either, which this seems to be the spiritual successor of (the B2 was the baby while the full size remained with removable top). I think the removable top would be awesome, but even moreso on the full size. I am not holding my breath for either, but it sure would be a good

So it’s a crossover that looks “tougher” than most while still being completely useless off pavement? Jalopnik will hate this, and Ford will sell a trillion of them.

You’re not my real dad!

Me and the General Public:

“Cool wheels, nice wing, sounds great

>Sees any McLaren Product
“turns into 12yo”

Maybe I’m crazy, but I don’t totally get the hate regarding their decision to stop building sedans. It’s pretty clear that demand is still shrinking, they make a ton of different crossovers that are more popular than ever, and their profit margins on a $15,000 Fiesta are tiny.

I’m not saying I’m a fan of the decision,

I have similar experience too. Bought a 4 yr old Jetta with 36K miles for 8.5K. It was my first car. With in a month, bottomed out the car while coming down the slope. Light was yellow, floored it, turbo kicked in, had a huge rally style bump and thump. Transmission case cracked. Repair estimate was 9K. At fault and
