Yes, yes, yes. I'm hoping with Donovan coming back into the fold that F. Johnson gets pushed to LB. Although I don't know if that helps us at all in that position honestly, seeing as Johnson is so prone to attack.

Agreed on Gonzales. He has shown the ability in flashes, but in a 90 minute game it is important to be consistent. Goodson's passing, touch, and heading ability have really impressed me during the Gold Cup. I didn't really know if he was good enough to start for us, but I think he's earned a shot.
Always an excellent read, Greg. I agree that offensively we are finally playing the game on the front foot and looking to possess, however I think our back line is still shaky. Goodson and Gonzales should both start, and Besler is a decent center back, but our outside backs aren't convincing on the defensive end.
Well this comment could've only come from a guy who's username is DudeMan2014.
Shea was behind or even with Donovan when he touches the ball, thus making him onside. It's close, but you can see when they pause it as Donovan is making "contact" with the ball that Shea is even with him. I think Donovan missed it too; either way Shea is onside.
Greg, I come here for Premier League coverage over anything at ESPN or elsewhere. Fantastic summary of the fight for Champions League and the relegation battle.
Ken Jeong in training for his upcoming role, "Asian Men Can't Jump (Or Climb Fences)"
I love the acting prowess of the man clinging so desperately to his bowl before flinging the drink out of his opposite hand. It takes real subtlety to go from "Oh this bowl is slippery" to "Shit! My drink!" in one consecutive shot.
Agreed. It sucks being a Newcastle fan. Europa League was fun for a year anyway.
Yes the blood that he was wiping from the back of his head clearly must have come from him being a "soccer pussy".
I really hope Jozy does take his form in the Netherlands and brings it to the US stage. He looks confident and inspired when he's playing there, but for some reason he just isn't effective when he plays for the US.
