I lived this game. I don’t know if I can play it voluntarily, but I hope it helps someone else. Really glad that gaming as a coping tool is becoming a game dev things though.

This is just to justify Kinja cross posting spoilers to every website in their kinjdom.
I don’t mind all the articles. It’s when they go all “they fuqd” I wonder what the fucking point is. this thing has slowly devolved into a 12 year olds fucking blog.
Maybe I’m alone but Theon’s “beat me like a punching bag” beach fight just seemed sad. All the important people are handling dragon fire, insane siblings with undead murderslaves, and an army set to extinguish all life, and I’m supposed to cheer because Theon finally stood up to a bully? Eh.
Everyone makes typos. “All of the sudden” is a mistake, I believe, not a typo.
These pleas for proof-readers have been going on for years...but NOT from the days of Dodai. Things started their steep decline when she left.
I liked this article a lot, when I read it back in March. Why is it being featured again so prominently? This Kinjasphere is a strange land indeed.
Yeah I have it just didn’t play it yet, although for what it’s worth, I think Jack the Ripper is my favorite Sherlock Holmes game.
I wonder if making detective games with serial killers/homicide cases is a hard thing or if it just doesn’t sell well. These are the games I enjoy most and there’s just sooooo very few of them. Blues and Bullets was a game that could have been something, but they stopped at episode 2.
I’m surprised no one mentioned the best feature of Our Groceries—it has an Alexa skill. “Alexa, ask Our Groceries to add milk.” I like looking through cookbooks and cabinets and dictating my shopping list to my personal robot. Or immediately adding it to the list as I use the last of it.
Interesting you say that. My FIL who lives in Florida during the Winter ( because we need to live up to our Jewish stereotype) was a long time Republican, military guy, gun owner. You’d think he’d be a nightmare, but he’s not. He tore up his NRA membership card, has defriended a bunch of his pals who called Obama the…
Trump could be 100% certain he’s not going to pardon Arpario right up to the moment he steps on stage in Phoenix.
Yeah that’s pretty common. Maybe its just me saying reproed?
lol, used to work in the QA field, “reproed” means you were able to reproduce whatever bug you’re working on. I’m so used to typing it, “repoed” just turned into “reproed”
The issue is that freshmen get to college, and they have no idea how to read and absorb information, they have no idea how to think critically, they don’t know how to write an essay - basically, they are not prepared for college. Then they’re sitting in History 101, and that professor is paid to teach history, not…
Agreed. This isn’t a good post. These are four random points that are haphazardly thrown together without any cohesion.
“simply believed I could not write that good”
Plagiarism: When grammar suddenly improves, albeit briefly, in a sea of crappy writing.
Or a reunion tour from The Who? Black Sabbath? Kiss? or any other band that does the dreaded farewell tour?
This comment is so spot on. I was friends with a guy in undergrad who was literally obsessed with Minton types. Like, these super petite, bleach blond women. Then one day I am staying over at his apt while he is out of town and come across his stash of porn mags (this was pre-internet streaming porn) and they…
