nah, it’s a very simple and tbh reasonable thing to “patch” out of the game, they’re using cookies for the lolz, a very minor but understandable concern was raised with that, so the devs were like “hmm, good point” and changed it. Very much not a big deal, prob took the devs <5mins to change.

Valve is fixing a mistake they created themselves. Years ago the trading market used to be quite fun. You sold what you didn’t like, bought cards from games you wanted to support. Only real humans/fans involved, there was a real tangible group of people doing it. You could even make a little profit to buy new games…
