When the nutrition facts labels came out, a lot of candy companies took that as an opportunity to make smaller sized candies, both to make it look less unhealthy, and to help margins

Agreed. And while inflation itself seems to be tapering off, this article fails to address the SHRINK part of shrinkflation, and that we’re still getting smaller quantities of things when we buy them
They’re available year round from AM/PM (aka Arco) gas stations, with a condiment bar to customize as one sees fit (altho, the quality of said condiment bar seems to vary WILDLY from location to location).
Grapefruit/sugar sludge was amazing. I was just stoked to be able to use those weird knives to cut out the grapefruit pieces
Maybe not, but I might ask you to wash your hands before we shake 😉
I think this goes hand-in-hand with cereal box toys no longer being a thing either
As a kid, I would deliberately eat regular Cheerios, even tho we also had the honey nut ones on hand, so I could over sugar them, and scrape the bowl at the end 😋
Absolutely. My purchase decisions used to be primarily driven by whatever I wanted to eat, now it’s a matrix of what sounds good plotted against price

Can a get FIVE of those new Mambo sauces, please?
I will admit, I’m in the market for a new iPad soon, and already have Xbox controllers anyway. I’m not a huge RE fan, but as a proof of concept, I’m interested
100%. When I’m In Charge, we’ll just put a sign next to the puddle, or maybe a park bench lol
Not sure if you’ve seen Mythic Quest, but they have a similar thing...they build an in-game shovel, and everyone starts making dick-shaped hills with it lol
This was the first thought I had on the matter as well
Whoa, somehow I had missed this news. I’m still on a One S, so this is great to hear
Fully with you on not patronizing the place at all.
I’m sure this is simply testing the waters. The policy should be judged on its face, not the amount of the prices increase.
