While I agree with you 100%, the prospect of diminishing returns has, to date, never stopped anyone from making a watered-down version of a thing people like to watch 

Considering the costs associated with data breaches are significantly less than infrastructure and security upgrades, I’m sure we can expect more of the same for a long time

Funny enough, this is the first time I’ve seen anyone explain the difference between DMsGuild and DriveThruRPG.

We’ve got an indie theater in my city that does exactly this, showing digital copies (much cheaper than film) of anything from Ferris Bueller to Fear and Loathing, for only a few bucks a seat.

Coraline 3D was amazing, no doubt. Tron Legacy 3D was nothing to sneeze at either

I’ve got my own take on these that isn’t QUITE the same, but still pretty good.

I mean, I’m no financial whiz, but for folks who REALLY wanna pay for games ahead of time, figure out what retail price is, throw it into a savings account for that two year period, and have enough earned in interest to buy a bag of chips or a silly hat or whatever lol
