Invite her to the cookou...?

Cool. Agreed.

Considering that I say “all skin folk ain’t kinfolk” all the time, I find it interesting that you should try to use that here.

On Thursday night I wandered into a Washington D.C. diner/bar at 11:00 p.m. My stomach was emptier than Jeff Sessions’ soul and I was thirstier than LinkedIn’s email marketing team.

I saw a really good documentary about this very topic, called Get Out

Offset is part of MIGOS.... who are also insanely successful in the rap world

Show of hands: who thinks he’s the only owner in the league who feels this way towards the players?

Except he said it in reference to the black players who are protesting, so shut up and go learn the difference between “or” and “are.” It is every bit racial. Players being arrested on drug charges, domestic abuse etc don’t have anything to do with it for one, and clearly the NFL has no problem with THAT stuff because

What puzzles me about this story is how this woman and her husband could have expected anything different from the people in their all-white church. Hey, there’s a reason why it’s all-white! Their surprise shows their own blindness to the real pervasiveness of racism in our country.

I agree with your assessment of this person in general but agree with Jane’s advice. If you are truly repentant and cheated once (not multiple times), don’t tell them. The cheater should feel guilty and like shit, but not dump shit feelings on another.

Holy shit...did I just read ~good~ advice in this column this week? Weird!

And that is white privilege in a nutshell. She had the luxury of being able to ignore it until racism touched her through her children.

beautiful blonde-haired blue-eyed baby ...

I’m half black and I completely get it.

Well, that explains that creepy smile.

That’s how I feel about my mother’s. Her morning toilet farts have harmonies.

Don’t nobody go in there for 30, 35 minutes.
