If they're buying tubes and lights, and just pimping the looks of their computer without much thought of upgrading other parts, then I agree— they're just being silly.
Last I checked, carbon fiber is pretty light-weight, which is why it's used on some European exotics and other kinds of performance vehicles. It is also very resistant to heat, and since high-horsepower engines produces a lot of heat, the carbon fiber can be used to minimize the chances of the engine burning up the…
I like some of these cases and might consider them if I ever get around building another PC.
Well, I'll tell you something— if someone has one of these boxes in their room, then they're not doing a good job in repelling me, that's for sure. I guess I'm different some how. I guess that's why I'm posting here at Kotaku instead on Jezebel.
I know right? What happened to the ordinary beige-looking boxes of the yesteryear that you would normally lay flat? And then you put some kind of heavy-ass CRT monitor on top of it just so it looks like those computers you see on TV?
I suppose being fictional is an excuse for the legality of something like this. I don't admit to having any guilt though— I just find it somewhat weird ... but hey! That's Japan for ya!
The tail lights on most newer Aston Martins. The One-77 especially. I like how this one looks clean and elegantly styled to wrap around the top rear, but not obnoxious. The whole strip doesn't appear to be one big light, but I still like the style of it.
Now those examples look pretty interesting. It's not everyday you see technological stuff made of wood. If I ever have some free time around, I might actually attempt something like this. I just need a table saw and a few other things and I could make it work ... sometimes, I miss my woodworking class back in college.…
I think it's more or less for airflow and cooling solutions in addition to looks. I'm pretty sure the highest-end of hardware can produce enough heat to keep a family warm for the winter. Also consider that some high-end systems have SLI or Crossfire multi-card setups. That's already a lot of heat right there.
I assume no relation to this ... :|
Personally, I'm happy with the speakers I have right now. If I can keep those, that would be great, but if I need to use a set of speakers just for that box, I guess I'll have to settle.
I guess while we're here talking about how to save money, I've been trying to find a suitable surround sound setup that works just as great but at a decent price.
I think I like how that sounds. I suppose it makes sense for the solo player who may not have a more healing-centric companion with them to aid them in their journeys. That, and I like how you can support yourself more instead of relying on dedicated roles to get by. According to that same article, looks like they're…
I'd imagine it's a more of a compatibility thing— newer hardware may not work well on older OSes so a computer with more antiquated hardware would be a better choice. The tricky part may be looking for drivers as some manufacturers don't carry drivers for older stuff anymore— though, I'm sure Google is good at finding…
"Stay away from the head ... stay away!"
I guess someone out there thought that these developers deserve some kind of redemption from their previous effort known as X-Blades. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either ... I guess it's just borderline decent.
It's not like they 'thought' ... more like PC gamers were 'told' at one point that this game wouldn't have the Always-Online DRM through a message posting. Apparently, that has been revealed to be some kind of big lie.
It's up to you. Personally, I use AdHoc party occasionally so I would be missing out on WiFi access, but if I wasn't using AdHoc party, I'd pick up this PSP instead.
