I posted my questions in the previous article about GW2's changes:
I'm actually aware of the Party Finder, which I forgot to mention about in my opening post. The downsides to it however is that it is zone-restricted and it's not easily noticeable since it's not its own icon on the corner of the screen. I actually had to go around the options to dig for it when the game was still in…
One more question— I promise!
I have some questions:
If I was the driver of that Ferrari, I would have said, "Sorry officer, but I didn't know your feet were so damn big!"
No, I didn't. I worked in the Jacksonville, NC branch (sometimes, in the Camp Lejeune, NC branch on occasion and even the New Bern, NC branch during emergencies). On the other hand, almost all the "new car stock" for eastern North Carolina did come the Wilmington Airport branch, so if you were to rent from any of the…
My worse experience? Well ... would it hurt to say that I have worked for Enterprise Rent-a-Car for about 2 1/2 years before I eventually called it quits?
Well ... GW2 does have radically different questing system compared to your conventional MMO. It would make sense to at least hold your hand for the first few minutes until you eventually get the hang of it. In any other MMO with a traditional questing system, most MMO players probably wouldn't need to have their…
I would go with 6, 5, and 13, in that order.
Personally, I think each character should be speaking their own native tongue. I think it makes more sense that way. If they all speak one language, then I think it would feel too situational. But that's just me though.
I, for one, would like the Square-Enix version of Harada just mouth out and rant at gamers about the Final Fantasy series as a whole. That would make my day!
Here's a toast to one of the most bad-ass Japanese developers out there!
I never broke a controller in a fit a rage, but I know my brother has. I can't imagine how many SNES controllers were destroyed because my brother keeps getting his butt kicked in Street Fighter 2 (the vanilla version, before all the Super Turbo etc versions). It was sort of hilarious watching him bust those…
I picked up TERA for three bucks yesterday at Best Buy (50% off - $23 for a trade-in + tax), and I think it's the best 3 bucks I've spent. Although, after participating in the last two Guild Wars 2 beta weekends, I keep asking myself if questing the traditional "kill X, turn in, collect Y, turn in, etc" way still…
Personally, I don't mind Hardcore mode if the biggest enemy to deal with is actually in-game, or something that can easily be controlled through in-game means. But I find that I die a lot in MMOs and other online PvE games mostly due to lag, which is something that can be out of my control at times (it sucks when you…
I think I'll give the free seven days a shot— probably wouldn't hurt ... except now I have to free some space since I like to load games off my SSD instead of my traditional HDD. Managing space on a 60GB SSD sure is a pain compared to dumping whatever seems half-interesting on my 1 TB platter drive.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try out ShiftWindow when I get the chance.
Now that you mention it, that could potentially be an issue, but I'd have to get a feel for it and see how it would work with and without the cable attached to it.
If you can plug it in and still play, then it shouldn't matter much. I know when my PS3's controller starts to die out, I just plug it in and keep playing.
I hope they fix the part where the game doesn't break when I alt-tab out of it. That always bugged the hell out of me when I played it, and wanted to alt-tab out to check a wiki for some information, and the game crashed.
