This PlayThru thing is kind of interesting. Sure beats the hell out of trying to read those annoying CAPTCHA images.

I think it would be a matter if you will be playing this by yourself or with friends. Personally, I'd get the PC version but since a lot of my friends are on consoles, I'll get the console version first. When the game goes on sale on Steam, then I'll pick up the PC version.

Looks pretty gritty and bad-ass looking. I do like the bloom effects on the second image. Looks kind of drastic and suspenseful.

680 availability was like trying to find Bigfoot ... as least for me anyway. However, I settled with the 670 and I'm liking it so far.

Same here— that would make much more sense, I think.

This is an interesting cross-over mix. I'm not sure if I agree with Zero Suit Samus' battle attire, but everything else looks intriguing.

I don't play it as much as I use to, but I have noticed most of my friends have stopped playing it. If anything, I'd probably be the last of my crew to stop this.

Someone asked this on SpeakUp the other day and I answered with this:

For most archetypes, I've always approached them with an open mind, and eventually become good friends with them. It's just a matter of knowing common ground with them and possibly getting to their good sides.

While waiting for other bigger-name games to come out, I've been spending some quality time with Drawception and rediscovering my old hobby of drawing. It's amazing the kind of humor that could be driven by some of the games that happen there. And it's not just the drawings, too, but the sometimes-funny descriptions

I'm in Jacksonville, and right next to it is Camp Le-JURN ... that means I have a bunch of crazy Marines living in this town. It might as well be called CallOfDuty-ville or Battlefield-ville.

Memes are interesting, I guess. Granted, I use a few meme-like images when I start something off (usually the use of the Impact font in a meme-like way), but it's usually relevant to the content of the post.

Looking at it from a distance, I would have thought that was a Pikachu-themed 360 controller.

MMOs will always have assholes, no doubt about that. I have had my share of assholes in just about every MMO I played and have learned how to deal with their kind. Eventually, I start to become more tolerant about them and can categorize them in certain ways.

Well, it was inevitable. I mean, Tamriel is freakin' huge in nature and it was only a matter of time when an MMO based on The Elder Scrolls would kick right in. I'll reserve most of my judgement until I play a beta of it ... although, I might have some pretty off-the-wall expectations running into it. This is

This might actually be the first time I would spend 60 bucks on a CoD game.

Don't have a gun? Well, you can be like this guy.

I suppose the advantage to this is that this is a one-card solution that consumes less power whereas two 680s SLI-ed together could perform just as great or even better, depending on the game. The latter solution obviously requires two PCIe slots and consumes more power and produces more noise... although, I suppose
