It wasn't, but it is now. Since Hanbitsoft bought it, they've turned it into a subscription based game, which is now Free-to-Play I believe. The game already had MMO-like type of mechanics and elements, but it's true it wasn't strictly an MMO at the start.

Except this is fantasy, not an MMO, and it's not set in the future.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to this. I've been waiting for fantasy co-op fps, hopefully this will be good. I liked Dead Island, it has issues, but it's still fun.

Not really. I just think it's somewhat insulting to game development and the developers to constantly report on the same topic for eighth time, hidden behind some extraneous opinion piece. And don't reply with some stupid BS anecdote about how EA is insulting the gamers with such a bad launch, it's pathetic. The

Doesn't this also apply to journalism or is that somehow exempt from your gif.

I don't see how your comment is at all insulting, or even remotely relevant to anything.

I think this is being pretty insulting now. I get that the launch problems and always-online aspect of the game have been annoying for people and bad for the game, but just get over it already. Every day there are 2-3 articles about SimCity and it's getting kind of pathetic.

Better Off Ted. Great show that only ran 2 seasons a few years back on ABC.

Another thing to think about is that Gearbox was not going to make very much money on Aliens, at least not in comparison to Borderlands 2, a game they own the rights to. Obviously they'd rather focus internally on Borderlands 2. They had shelved and redone A:CM a bunch of times and decided to focus on what would work

Gearbox didn't make DNF, they bought the license and gave Triptych the resources to complete it. Also, A:CM was farmed out to TimeGate. The Borderlands series is the only thing they've made in the last 4 years.

For #3, your account/gamertag/profile should hold on to the information about which games you have access to. So any physical copy of the game should work. As long as you have the account, it's fine. If you never had an account, I guess it would be a problem for future collectors adopting their version of retro

I agree with the sentiment that the first time playing Morrowind was really special. But I think I've enjoyed Skyrim and Oblivion so much more than I ended up enjoying Morrowind. I felt more like I was on an adventure with Skyrim and Oblivion and the sort of creepy music and fog of war in Morrowind gave it a different

I never really played any of the Resident Evil games. I played the first one on PC for a few hours, and I played the demo for RE5 on 360. Didn't much care for them and I hated the controls for 5. But I played 6 and actually enjoyed it. Mostly for the Co-op though.

Yeah, the Telltale game is a much better FPS.

I can't find anything on a game called Dead Estate. There's Dead State, which I've heard of, is that what you're talking about?

I saw the 48fps 3D version with my father and he couldn't tell the difference either. I noticed it instantly(we actually didn't know it was going to be the HFR version beforehand, so it came as a slight surprise). So I guess the experience can be different for a lot of people.

It doesn't make sense if he's trying to set him up as an Inside Man. They already know they're at the prison, and they were already planning to wipe them out in force.
