Uh, tough shit? They own it now, so they don’t exactly owe a business rival anything beyond what’s in a contract. You’d think Sony knew a thing or two about exclusivity hardball.

As it stands, it’s still smaller than Warzone or RDR2. For whatever that’s worth.

I mean, I do think the art style is kind of ugly, but I’m not attacking the game or the people behind it. I’m still excited to play it, I’m just not a fan of the look it has.

You just don’t get it.

Also basically true for the entire Battlefield franchise. Battlefield 2042 is a joke right now, but people are so quick to forget how big of a mess the rest of the series’ launches have been now that they’ve had years of patches and improvements.

Agreed. It’s not the best Battlefield, and it’s certainly in need of some attention, but I’ve been playing more of this game than just about anything else recently. It’s hard for me to deny that it’s fun, even if it’s clearly unfinished. And really, EA (of all publishers) shouldn’t be releasing something this

Impressive. I’ve done this with a couple of levels, but I wouldn’t dream of doing it on some of the larger maps.

It looks like it’s moving too fast. I mean, it is, because it was never supposed to run at 60 fps, but it still has that look about it. As far as the animations are concerned, they were designed for a lower frame rate, and they look wrong at 60 fps. The impact of the hits feels lessened, and some of the movements look

Well, I guess knowing really is half the battle.

Huh. TIL Xplay is back, and Jirard is a host.

I remember a time when open world games were a novelty. GTA 3 had just come out, and nobody had really been doing this until then. With the raging success of that game, however, came many other attempts to replicate that winning formula. As the years went on, we saw all sorts of open world games, and it was exciting!

Gameplay FPS: As high as you can get away with.

Single player? Arthurian Legends. It’s a retro FPS based around games like Heretic or Witchaven, and it’s pretty good.

No, it’s fine. Other than a couple of lines of dialogue from the movie (which have already been used in trailers for Spiderman itself), there’s no connection here.

I’m conflicted. The idea of making school shootings into a game seems incredibly tasteless, given that a central part of the concept involves children being murdered. On the other hand, it’s a tactical shooter focused on SWAT-styled missions, and all of the scenarios are likely based on real-world incidents where

Why was Eddie Brock/Venom even in the same reality though? Dr. Strange’s spell was bringing in people from throughout the multiverse who that Peter Parker was Spiderman. Well Eddie/Venom not only didn’t know that Peter Parker was Spiderman, but they didn’t even know Spiderman existed.

You can’t be amazing all the time. I suppose it’s inevitable.

I’ve been saying that, too, and I’m actively holding on to my money until they actually release the game sometime next year. I really like what I have seen, but there’s so much I’m currently unable to see because it’s not in the damn game. At least the multiplayer is free.

Is this what Sonic fans have been asking for? An open world game in a bland-looking fantasy world?I mean, I think having a Sonic game that’s more than holding forwards and jumping sometimes sounds nice, but this environment has no character whatsoever. Show anyone any shot of anywhere from this trailer, but don’t show

Get back to me when it’s $20. I’m in no hurry for a game with that reputation.
