I don’t like this statement. I could just as easily say the same thing, verbatim, but swap “Sonic” with “Mario” and “Lost Levels” with “Sonic ‘06" or “Sonic Boom”. I mean, I’m already on your side for the most part, but there are inherent issues with this particular collection of words.

Man, I would love a remaster of Soul Reaver. Just putting that out there.

I don’t think the Sonic series is all that good either, but that might be a step too far.

My dad mockingly refers to video games as “baby games”. He doesn’t like that I’m in my 30s and still treat the medium as my primary hobby.

My experience with replaying Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine is this: SM64's controls (and especially its camera) haven’t aged very well, so the challenge from most of the stages comes from wrestling with them to keep Mario from doing something dumb. The stages and their respective challenges aren’t too bad,

I’ve hated this rule for a long time. There’s apparently a rule about pronunciation, and that one gets my goat as well. Like, fuck you, Wheel of Fortune. They figured out the letters. Give them the prize.

While I largely agree, when viewed through the lens of Twitch, it comes across as a bit more voyeuristic. It’s not “women are in attire suitable for a public pool”, it’s “women are wearing a minimal amount of appropriate clothing so creepy people can peep”. I don’t really have a problem with it (it seems exploitative,

In hindsight, Serious Sam 2 is precisely the direction I want the series to go in. With SS3 and SS4 veering into a more “realistic” style, they’re just not as fun as they used to be. I remember so many people being irritated that SS2 was so cartoony (the originals kind of walked the line between silly and serious),

Pfft. I already did this by accident when that big Texas power outage hit. I could do it just fine with a functioning microwave.

This is all I want.

Gotta get my custom bindings in. I’ve been using them since before the modern standards really settled in; there’s no changing things now.

Correct. The location I work at has been back open since September.

I work for a franchise location, and I can say from experience that the management here has been nothing short of supportive and professional about handling these situations. The one instance of issues regarding sexual harassment led to an immediate firing and a message sent out to staff reminding everyone that they

This is the real-life equivalent of a Jeff Foxworthy joke that I can somehow remember even though I haven’t watched any of his standup in at least a decade:

Unfortunately, that joke doesn’t work well in text for people like me who say “man” the same way in all those words.

I don’t usually like to talk about Eternal because it seems like I’m in the minority about how I feel about it. I mean, I liked the game, but I have some pretty mixed feelings about how it changed. I could rant about it for hours, but I don’t think I’d be changing anyone’s opinions, and at least a few of my complaints

I am cautiously optimistic. When the news dropped that Vicarious Visions were absorbed into Blizzard to work on this, I had mixed feelings about it, but they do have a good enough track record to help alleviate some of the fears. I will definitely be waiting to hear about how the final product is received, but I am

I agree, but at the same time, I would like to have all my stuff in one place. The way I see it, if I don’t need to play a game right this second, I’m willing to wait and see what happens. My backlog is impossibly large as it is, so I can wait for either a huge price drop or for it to come to Steam. And then I can

Okay, fair.

I’d be down for that. We’re shady as shit for being such a major power. Anything that shines a light on that fact can only help us realize that fact and try to course correct.
