It depends on how you and your isp are connected and, how exactly the power outage happened. There’s no reason your cable/dsl would go down solely because electricity is cut off unless its also cut off to your ISPs equipment.

That would be nice, in theory, but, you’re making the assumption that the average taxpayer is well educated on every item present in the system and is acting rationally. I think we’ve all heard about the articles where people were both in favor of the Affordable Care Act and wanted Obamacare repealed.
Seems like the artist name got cropped out somewhere along the way to becoming this wallpaper.
I used to do the call center thing, get a year in (hopefully you’re doing tech support) and start putting out resumes, you’ll have your own team of recruiters looking to get you a better job and pay you more.
I try to eat a bag of kale a week, there’s honestly nothing you can do about it except learn to tolerate it or cover it up. This is true of a lot of healthy foods.
I’m in the same boat, my old job was 24/7 go go go. Now, i can go weeks or months between projects. It helped a lot with the boredom when i added personal education along with ‘catch up on feedly’ and ‘browse reddit’ as official work tasks in my head. I try to fit in at least 2 hours of each every day and, it feels a…
‘Get them cheaper in Mexico’. I imagine you’re right but, I really have no idea if you’re serious.

Personally, i don’t expect him to have a comprehensive knowledge of medical science. He wrote articles to make a bit of money based on medical research papers given to him.
I have 2 of these, be careful with using this for Sous Vide. It is very precise in that it always gives the same reading for the same object/temperature. However, it is not very accurate, i’ve observed its claimed temperature be off by up to 10 degrees when compared to a higher quality digital meat thermometer. I’ve…

Came here to post exact same thing, was even going to comment on the header picture, doppleganger?
They’re somewhat new on the scene on this side of the world but, they actually make really good stuff. They do the hardware for google’s onhub router and their Archer C7 is arguably one of the best performing wireless routers out there, theres no contest for best value.

I use my knife and/or multitool just about every day, i actually used the screwdriver on the multitool less than 10 minutes ago on a difficult ethernet cord and, ill probably use its various parts a few more times before the day is over. You can’t really say that tools aren’t useful and expect us to take you…
I’m cautiously optimistic about Tiko. I’m really looking forward to seeing some real world use on it to see how close it gets to what they claim it can do.
With several different 3D printers, you could kind of. I mean, there’s probably someone somewhere who has made one that could do all of them but, its basically going to be a device that just swaps between different 3D printers (A dvd changer but for 3D printers!). Man, assembling that would be hell too and, you could…
You can 3D print a nice little plaque for your 3D printer that says ‘I 3D printed this Printer!*’.
Going to lead off this comment with a quick note. I have a crappy car and I’m going to drive my car until it dies.

It is kind of disappointing that ‘Lengthy R&D’ ended up meaning ‘Lets make an Xbox controller’.
I never imagined a label maker would have the capability to print on heat shrink tubing, that is pretty nifty.
The thing about mercury is that a good portion of it takes a very long time to leave your body once it gets in. It really should be ‘how much mercury can you have over a period of about 10 years without being likely to suffer ill effects’.
