Good. Exclusives outside of first-party developed games are good for everyone except consumers.

How was Mario Kart 7? I have a 3DS and I've been thinking about picking it up because for some odd reason I've had a craving for Mario Kart. I'm not very good and don't play it a ton, would it still be a good choice?
I'm not really sure why people are upset that this and FFXV aren't PS4 exclusives. I thought everyone was happy that so many games went multiplat last generation.
Used games have been a part of the industry since the beginning. No publisher will skip over the PS4 solely because it allows playing of used games. More sales with some used games is way better than half the sales with all bought new (or at least paid for).
My brother had these games on his GBC and I loved playing them/watching him play them. So I'm really glad to own my own copies that I can play whenever I've got my 3DS with me. They really have aged extremely well, and I've been having a blast—and not just from nostalgia!
Some people appear to have left their sense of humor at home today.
The fact that they're making it easier to buy/sell used games than to LEND GAMES TO A FRIEND is absolutely absurd. I NEVER buy used games because I like having it brand new for my collection. But I lend my games to friends all the time, it's a great way for them to play a game they might not have otherwise bought…
It's funny, because this is EXACTLY why I have NEVER been interested in the Xbox. The first Xbox was all "bros" and "shooters." I was perfectly satisfied playing just the games on PS2. Then Microsoft decided to be dipshits and try and make Japan love Xbox by getting exclusive JRPGs, which pissed me off. Then when…
I've thought about doing this, but at the same time I like training a whole new team when I'm on a whole new journey. So most of my Pokemon stay in the game I caught them in (which is good for when I go back and play the older games for nostalgia's sake).
The game is short but it's awesome. I downloaded it the other day and beat it in one sitting, but I enjoyed every moment of it. It's atmospheric, puzzling, and just an awesome experience. It doesn't have much replay value, but it's the sort of game I'll pick up again in a year and have a great experience all over…
Really hoping my store gets this (it's Mall of America, I'd be surprised if we don't). This is a pretty smart idea, you know this is going to get more people to pick the system up. Plus I'll get to try out the games at work!
I think they should do that as well (unless they're doing this as a limited time thing), but this way tons of people who don't own the console yet (like myself) will be able to try the demos and perhaps be more persuaded to pick one up.
Good. Let's go back to the previous generation. Back when Xbox was for shooters, PS was for RPGs and other genres, and Nintendo had their own Nintendo games. I had a PS2 and Gamecube and no Xbox, and I was perfectly satisfied.
3DS seemed dead and a failure for a long time, and it's not my (and many other's) favorite console. I still stand by my opinion that Nintendo just needs to find the right niche for the Wii U. They don't need EA Sports or the other blockbuster titles on PS/Xbox. They just need to keep cranking out quality Nintendo…
Interesting to look back and see that all of this stuff has come to fruition in the last few months. I'm hoping that with Iwata taking over as NoA CEO, we'll have better communication and a more globalized handling of the company. It would be nice if NoA didn't pretend that we DIDN'T get all of the news from Japan. …
Just noticed this today, but I've battled similar bouts of depression. Except that I have the opposite problem. When I get depressed, I tend to latch onto video games and play them as a way of avoiding dealing with the tough stuff or finding that motivation in real life. I got pretty down a couple days this week…
Honestly, I would be more interested in this game if I could get through the game without guns at all. I loved doing stealth-only runs in Deus Ex/MGS (with exception of boss battles of course). The hacking gameplay and all these unique elements sound amazing, but I'm still disappointed that they felt the need to…
That's actually really awesome. If I had a PC that could actually play the game, I would consider getting it just for this mod...
That's a good description of how/why I play it, and if that sounds appealing to you I think you can really get into the series. It's really about NOT looking at it as a game, and using your imagination. Most games do all the world building for you and let you escape into it. With Animal Crossing, you have to do a…
Animal Crossing is digital crack for anyone who likes collecting/unlocking stuff. That is part of the appeal for me, but I can get that in a lot of different games.
