My real life friends might be real people, and that does make them more complex than just about any fictional character can possibly be, but it does't make them better than characters. They're still my friends, and while complex, they're also not changing a whole lot. I like fictional characters because they are

Until the video game industry embraces the what-should-be-common-sense notion of giving a free digital copy with the purchase of a physical retail copy, I say yes. If you already own the game, I have no problem with you downloading a digital copy. It's not unreasonable—you've already given the publisher/developers

Oh yes they are. My friend and I used to watch the "show" for laughs, but it eventually became too painful and we have since stopped watching entirely. If they ever meet their goal of getting picked up by a network, I will have officially lost faith in our society.

Never heard of the games, but they seem interesting. Impulse bought!

How about they focus on making a more complete version of Xilllia (with a US release) first?

No Move support? Looks like Sony really dropped the ball with that waste of resources/time/money.

This is why "democracy" just doesn't really work. It's great that we want to be inclusive, but there are way too many uninformed idiots.

The only games I preorder are small JRPGs that I'm afraid won't show up in stores in my area, or games that I'm REALLY anticipating (the last big-title game I preordered was FFXIII-2, and before that FFXIII).

Lately I've been enjoying getting my friends to try my games. They get to play/be involved, and I enjoy watching. Or I'll play my DS/PSP while they play. It's a good way to combine socializing and gaming, even with my non-gamer friends.

I've been helping my friend play Final Fantasy XIII. He's played quite a few video games, but never an RPG before. He has really been struggling with the game.

Don't know a thing or care about Ragnarok Online, but I am definitely a supporter of more RPGs on the Vita. Maybe I'll finally have a reason to pick one up!

Tell me about it—I can't count the number of Suikoden "fans" I know who didn't even bother playing V. It should've sold so much better, because it's one of the best entries in the series! And then they fucked the series up with Tierkreis and the PSP version which isn't even going to get localized from the sounds of

I liked the variety personally—having more than just the one topic/article. Plus it was nice to have some involvement from commentors! It would be cool if we could make it even more of a discussion (like have each topic be a 2-parter, with your intro the first week and then people's responses/comments the next week,

Not that I was ever interested in this game in the first place, but hearing these details and seeing the leaked art/screenshots, I really feel bad for TES fans. This game doesn't look particularly promising.

The CoH2 Kickstarter was basically doomed from the start, but I must say I'm disappointed it failed. It's unfortunate that they're spinning this to be such a monumental failure considering that it wasn't handled particularly well and was for the localization of a pretty mediocre game (or at least the first game was

No suggestions on what to play this week!? What am I gonna do!?!?!?!?

That's how I feel. I love RPGs and the premise and such seem interesting, but sidescrolling action gameplay doesn't appeal to me at all.

I think the nature and definition of "boss battles" is what's changing/evolving. I can easily determine the boss battles of earlier Final Fantasy games because they are so distinct. Different music, unique enemy, challenging encounter, etc. But when I try to count the bosses in FFXIII, it's really hard to do

Very happy to hear this even though I don't have a Vita yet—this might be something that would actually persuade me to get one (although other RPGs would be nice). That said, I'm still waiting for Persona 5 announcement!!!
