Ok...I got 2

Actually they hired the guy from the jailbreak community, Peter Hajas, to do it in the core iOS. Not copying from jailbreak so much as paying the developer to make it work. Now, where he got the idea and concepts for it is another issue, however since webOS and iOS run on different code bases, frameworks, and

One of the most un-funny things to do this weekend of all weekends. I hope that this is the worst that happens on that subject for this week.

Ya know, if they actually had power laces, I would be camping eBay...but without them, they are just an overpriced pair of LA Gear shoes.

I know, this is heavy!

LOVED All my tivos. I've got a Premier XL currently and did have a Series 2 before that.

The mute switch hole is on the wrong side for that to be a 3G/3GS case. Its on the opposite side of the volume buttons when it was on the same side for all the iPhones so far.

Mr. Powell, please report to Mr. Cooks office...where were you last night?

The mini was quite popular I thought. When the mini came out is when a lot of people started adopting iPods because they were cheaper and more stylish. It led to the Nano eventually which did become the most popular for a while (it might still be actually...not sure). I wouldn't call the mini a dud at all.

He's been gone for a while now, just it was called a medical leave. Apple is doing better than ever.

While this is a big deal, I don't think its going to affect Apple as much as everyone is worried its going to. He hasn't been doing the full CEO job for quite some time due to his medical leave of absence. Tim Cook has pretty much been doing that since then. He's going to still be on the board so I'm sure he'll

Didn't congress just put pressure on Apple and Google to remove other apps that did pretty much exactly this (Trapster, etc). Yet in england, they're putting the apps out themselves.

There is no way they could have sold it at this price normally. At $100 they are taking a major loss. I think the cost of the parts alone were $306.65 (according to this site: [allthingsd.com]

I wish they would just have iCloud sync to a mobile-me-like gallery, then give you the ability to manage your albums on your phone and specify which ones you want to sync. Then just keep em sync'd between the device and the computers. Its how they do the documents and mostly everything else with it. I got mobile me

I would recommend against this. There were reports of Apple cracking down on developers doing this type of thing...selling off beta activation to their friends off their dev account. Some people claimed they got emails from Apple saying to stop or they'll deactivate the devices.

I would recommend just waiting for you and for your developer friend. There were reports of Apple cracking down on developers doing this type of thing...selling off beta activation to their friends off their dev account. Some people claimed they got emails from Apple saying to stop or they'll deactivate the devices.

Neat...but call me when you get Doppler radar in there with time lapse...then get it to my phone. This day and age, why is it that I can't get a single map with the traffic and weather conditions for my ride home in one place? And cloud cover isn't nearly as useful as radar.

I found it interesting that apples weren't in the favorite fruit list...

Depends on what stage of testing they are in. If they are in field tests, that means they've likely been working on it for quite some time, and field tests are usually the last stage of testing, which if they are releasing it in a couple months, now would be when they are doing the field tests. Before they start

While potential Samsung customers might like to spend money to get their stuff made by Samsung, I'm positive companies producing would rather have the demand on their product coming from Apple to supply their devices than anyone else.
